HanoiVillan Posted March 6, 2019 Share Posted March 6, 2019 Re Armenia and pig iron, lots of websites seem to be using a form of words first used in the CIA World Factbook 2008: 'Pig iron, unwrought copper and other nonferrous metals are Armenia's highest valued exports'. The seeming absurdity of producing pig iron rather than steel might still have something to do with the location of factories in Soviet production lines perhaps?
