Jesperchr
Here it is people! The signing we alle have been hoping for! One of the top 3 strikers of the world (sarcasm) has now been linked to Aston Villa Danish newspaper says that Villa has gone into the battle to sign Bendtner on a free transfer.. They also say that Helenius is on his way to his old club AAB on a loan http://ekstrabladet.dk/sport/fodbold/udenlandsk_fodbold/engelsk_fodbold/PremierLeague/article2302222.ece TBH i think he would be a really good signing... if he stops being a dumbass and focuses on football... He can do a really good job for us! Edited June 9, 2014 by limpid

Dodgyknees
You don't play for Juventus, Arsenal and have a long international career if you are crap. Sign him up.

bobzy
Decent player, not as good as he thinks he is, crap attitude and high wages. Meh. We wouldn't be paying "high wages" - we all know this. He's (only) 26 and has been playing at a decent level for a long time. Much like with the Senderos situation, I struggle to see much wrong in bringing in this kind of player on a free transfer. StanBalaban
Still only 26, PL experience and on a free. Whether he comes or not is debatable, but this is the sort of transfer fee I expect to be splashed around whilst Randy is still here. With Benteke out, he'd be the best striker at the club IMO. bobzy
I'm pretty staggered he's scored at a rate of 1 in 2 for Denmark
Isa
You don't play for Juventus, Arsenal and have a long international career if you are crap. Sign him up. Isn't that the same argument being used for Senderos? Seriously though, I don't think that we need any more strikers. We already have about six. This is Paul Lambert we are talking about though, so no doubt he feels another one is needed.

I find it hilarious that in the Senderos thread, when people mentioned teams that he had played for, the argument against it meaning he is good was "but look at Bendtner". It seems as if Lambert has saw those comments and thought **** it, get him as well!

He won't be coming then. He was proven time and time again when Arsenal have tried to shift him that he cared more about salary. He will end up in Turkey somewhere earning the millions. samjp26
Maybe the answer to not being able to buy a creative midfielder is to just play with 5 center backs and 5 center forwards?
