In the UK we are entitled to 3 days a year to sort out our gardens. It was introduced in the Elizabethan period and lives on today although it is reported that over 50%of people do not do any gardening during their gardening leave. Is almost impossible to regulate but would be equally impossible to prise away from the public who see this almost as a human right.
