I was really keen to get an Android Wear watch and the Moto360 looks really nice however the more I have looked at it and read the reviews the more I have come to realise that version 1 is not the place to buy as there is just too much wrong. Battery life needs to improve quite a bit and wireless charging a la the 360 needs to be standard. There are some manufacturers who are listed as partners for android wear and have not yet brought anything to market and I will wait until they all have something out or might end up waiting for the 2015 Moto 360 where hopefully they will have ironed out some of the more obvious flaws.

LVG can't offer him a contract until next summer. Isnt it January he can discuss contracts with other clubs.

So Nexus owners, what would make you upgrade in the next month? I am definitely looking at whatever tablet comes out as my Nexus 7 (2012) is a little long in the tooth and the rumoured jump in screen size is exactly what I am looking for. The Nexus 6 or X or whatever it is called is a different matter. I think my Nexus 5 will still be current for another 12 months so unless the rumours of the Google Gem watch being bundled with it are true I will be holding off on this upgrade.

Well the Apple Watch in terms of appearance is a bit on the ugly side which is a really strange thing to say about an Apple product.

Compared to all the moick ups on tech websites and even the Moto360 or LG R watch its not exactly a looker, not very Apple like really. Bigger iPhone had to happen despite their standpoint a few years ago that the original iPhone size was the sweetspot.

I thought that CEX would be uping the Kinect price after MS announced that they were going to sell them separately for well over £100.00. We bought one from CEX Merry Hill the day that MS announced it for £20.00.

Its an old Dell Dual Core with 4 gb of Ram. I am looking at getting an old quad core Xeon server of ebay with 2 processors if possible as it is the processing power thats needed for transcoding.

I currently have all my music and video files on an oldish PC which sits next to my TV. Its good enough to play full HD videos and has a Blu-ray drive in (but cannot remember the last time I actually put a disc in it) My son plays videos and music on his Xbox One and my daughter does similar either through the xbox 360 or she has a little android box that does the same thing. I am using Plex Server as it will transcode files down for the Android box, Xbox and Tablets etc but the PC does struggle and gets really noisy when 2 or more streams are being transcoded. Does anyone else use Plex and what hardware do you run it on.

Wasn't aware the the PS4 is similarly crippled. Its poor really, its all about forcing customers to consume the media from their particular storefront instead if giving the customer the best experience possible.

Was down in Cornwall last week and checked before I went to find Three was about as good as it got down where we were staying which was handy as I am on Three anyway. We take for granted that emails will get pushed and Google Now will be our saviour keeping us up to date but bloody hell you miss it when it isn't there. My Mrs is on O2 and she struggled massively to get emails and a lot of the time just to send texts or make calls.

The only phone I haven't put a case on was my Gnex and the screen developed a crack so as much as I hate it its a case for me.

My son has just upgraded from the 360 and I am shocked at how MS has crippled it in terms of being as media player. You cannot even watch media from a win7 PC unless you push it from the PC to the xbone. The forthcoming update needs to put this right or he will be getting a PS4.
