off topic, that's what it is keeping this "on topic" then. I am going to remove the Android App for Google Inbox from both my Nexus 5 & 7 as it changes all the Categories from the standard and I think makes it much harder to keep track of your email. As an App they look very nice and the way they handle your email may well suit some people. - just doesnt work well for me.

Well I thought it would but cannot see anywhere we it gets mentioned. If it appears I will ping one over.

I had an invite for the new Google Inbox so have it on my Nexus 5. Not totally sold on it so far.

Well PC World / Currys are now selling the Nexus 9 so will call in tomorrow and have a look if they have on on display. The reviews so far have been mixed at best. For half that price they are selling a Lenovo Tab S8 which has a 64bit Processor which is tempting as a short term replacement for my Nexus 7.

How can someone of his experience sit and watch our matches, see the lack of movement and variety from our throw ins and do bugger all about it?

Players generally haven't improved under him, he is never proactive with substitutions, never tries to win a game but makes changes to try and save games when we a losing. Sadly doesn't look like he knows how to change our fortunes on the pitch so for me he has to go.

Still not any mention of PC World or Carphone Warehouse selling the 6 or the 9 or any kind of timeframes. Google really have cocked this up big time for the UK users.

Your wishing!! He will be gone if we lose the next 2, if not it'll be a absolute crime to us fans! When has Lerner paid any attention to the fans.....the whole McLeish debarcle showed that. People are assuming that it was Lerner that gave Lambert the contract extension and Fox will step in and remove him but what if it was Fox who sorted out the deal? Is he really going to say to Lerner that wa a big mistake and we need to sack him 6, 7 or 8 games later. Let there be no doubt I want him out and should never ever appoint another Scottish manager again.

I would love to turn the radio on and hear he is gone but since he only signed a new four year deal 6 weeks ago I cannot see him going even if he loses the next 2, 3, 4 or 5. He will be here at Christmas, New Year and sadly on the day we get relegated. He ain't going anywhere.

Our club reminds me a bit of Sheffield Wednesday, did well fairly big crowds. Owner who hadnt a clue, a succession of crap managers, crowds dropped, relegation, crowds dropped further, more relegation and never recovered.

The issue is you want to be able to tie all these things together and at the moment I am not sure its there for the enthusiast. Google are hovering up companies to have tech that will work with Nest and Apple have their version which I am sure tech companies will get behind. I wanted to have my central heating, lights and alarm system to work without manual interaction. Is switch heating off and set alarm when no one in, switch on lights at sunset etc. Finding an alarm that I can add to what I already have has been fruitless so far and other things like automatic door locks appear to be US only at the moment. I do think that this area is about to get very big in the next 18 months so options will be available.

I had seen this mentioned on AC a couple of weeks ago so had looked and got Shaun the Sheep now I must have done this on my N7 because I have just checked again on my N5 and got offered Gravity too, so maybe worth checking on all your devices to see if you get offered it.

So who do we think handed Lambert the 4 year deal, Lerner or Fox. Sadly I suspect it was Fox in an attempt to attain some form of stability. Unfortunately in doing so he completely disregarded the previous two years of shite that Lambert had served up.

So Moyes would turn us down because if there is aa takeover they could be out of a job. Aren't they out of a job now? At least they would have a nice pay off to soften the blow.

Watched Four Lions again last night on channel 4, every time it gets better and better. You cannot stop laughing.

I cannot remember having wait this long after Nexus devices being announced for any of the carriers to say that they will be having them. Now I know that officially that they arent available for pre-order until October 29th but absolutely nothing has been released by any of the big 4 or Carphonewarehouse which I do find really strange.

A recent report stated that Apple users spent on average $4 to every $1 spent on Android. Now playing devils advocate you could say if Android users had the same catalogue of apps would their average spend be any higher?

I need to replace my ageing Nexus 7 and had thought the Nexus 9 would be the perfect replacement, but the lack of any retailers in the UK even saying they will stock them at some point has but doubt in my mind. I dont mind the 4:3 ratio I think for what you use it for Apple was right, however how are the apps going to rescale to that form factor, how many have been coded properly in the first place to automatically adjust - or am I going to have a tablet that unless you are on the web is going to look pretty horrible for at least a couple of months. Then you start looking at the apps available for other platforms and to be honest that market is far more mature. Just look at what you can get on the ipad if you a sky user and then look at the offering they serve up for android users - its night and day. With the cut in prices for refurb ipads that Apple currently have its not so clear cut. You would hope that withintroduction of Lollipop that Android on Tablets would be taken a little more seriously by developers but time will tell.
