Was playing championship manager many years back, for the first time. Chose a team to play, that team was Aston Villa. Loved the name a colors.

You've completely missed the point. The fact that he has done well playing against teams of greater quality, one of them being one of the best in the premier league is a indication that he should be more then able to cope with the standar of the premiership.

He's not a striker though is he?

I'm running a pretty mild training regime. Most of the injuries gets picked up during matches, usually against the top sides.

Just started my Aston Villa save after a long break from FM. Currently 10th mid season. Sold all the deadwood, got in some really cheap ones in Thomas Drage and Nadjim Abdou cost 1 million each, all ready doubled their value. Also got in Cresswell on the left for 3(5)million However, I'm being tottaly screwed over by injuries. Andi Weimann, Ciaran Clarck, Nathan Baker, Samir Carruthers, Graham Burke, Fabian Delph and Yacouba Sylla all out injuried for 3+ months. While Benteke was injured the first two months of the season, and gabby has been out for 3 just returning. Which leaves me with 13 players where 2 of them are getting jaded. Really feels as if the game wants me to fail

Truly legendary. When that's said, wow the English u21 team is really poor and the Norwegian one looks rather promising which is rather comforting considering our national team is so so poor. Best Norwegian generation in years I believe.

Werther or not the key pass was a good one or not. Isn't it quite poorly to only produce 1 key pass in a game when you're supposed to be a good playmaker?

It's more like him being the first guy to know whenever a deal is sealed. Seems clueless like the rest of us up untill that point. To me anyways, but I don't follow his writings that closely except from what's being put forth here at villatalk.

It's the Barry Bannan thread. There is little point in posting how bad Bennett is here, it's allready being done in the Bennett thread. Two players can be bad, at the same time. You know that right? Besides Bennett has been taking far more stick in his thread, and on twitter for that matther, then what Bannan has. Actually, you have been taking far more stick then Bannan has and rightly so. You've polarized the whole discussion to a point where people flagg Bannan off in a far worse matter then they would other wise, simply because they think you're an idiot.

Dear Con. Didn't you say Aston Villa would get relegated if he didn't play more games? And something about being good enough for a champions league club. I also remember something about world class crossing and set pieces and comparatives to xavi and iniesta. (just a top of my head, so I might be wrong about some of these claims) When you first started posting here, your posts were good and very reasonable, and you truly did point out some positives about Bannan. But then it just turned into ramblings of a madman and you lost all credibility, making ridiculous claims about Barry Bannan and his abilities using stats in a rather pathetic way to back up your argument. Worst part is, that your post in other threads usually are quite good. Unless Bannan somehow gets involved and it all turns into madness again.

Just shows us the worth of branding and agressive advertising.
