  1. Very well taken goal, happy for him. Would be great if he could get a goal in the league as well now. But why are people getting so worked up over a goal vs Rotterham? It's not like it's the winner in the cup final or something, clearly I'm missing something here...
  2. But it's not recommendable to sign a DM to a fantasy premier league team!
  3. That was my point exactly,...... High top speed but slower acceleration = quick but not on short distances = Might seem slow compared to Sturrige on short distances. So if I in anyway implied that I was expecting something else feel free to point it out.
  4. I'd say 3, in wetswood, kea and sylla. Tonev being a forward winger and bacuna more of a ultilty player.
  5. Looked far better as right back then a right wing to me. But that might just be because he gew into the game more.
  6. Been raving about him for ages, would be very cheap as well, 1-2 milion pounds. Will be a steal for any club that pics him up.
  7. ^Think it had more to do with his fitness levels and the fact that he was starting to tire towards the end. Also his top speed seems high but slower acceleration.
  8. 4-4-2 was wrong. Starting Bacouna on the wing was wrong. Dumping KEA after how well he'd be playing the other matches was wrong. Got really suprised by the move, did it loose us the match? I don't know, but it sure as hell didn't help our chances. However he did change the formation and players from what he gave out for the tv grafic thingy, so I think there was a plan behind it all. That did not work out quite well.
  9. Agreed, I'd love to see him tested in a more forward role without the same amount of defensive responsibilities, For some reason he reminds me of a young Ashely Young(I assume no one will agree on this). Think he'd link up very well with Luna if they ever were to be played at the same time. Expect him the get some cup runs, his form was improving towards the end of the season. A few more pounds of muscle and cutting out some naive weak passes he might turn into a rather nifty winger for us. He might turn into a decent fb as well.
  10. Damned, missed the first round. Picked up 100 points so that hurts. Ahh well got some catching up to do
  11. Feel like Delph is getting closer and closer to scoring or having an assist for each game, so popped delph into my fantasy midfield as well. Delph, Silva, Hazard n Michu.
  12. It's scary how the big clubs can just hijack trades simply because their position is being threatened and not because they actually need the players.
  13. Except for his 3 goals, where "two" of them were penalties I think he's been poorer in his overall play(ie arial duels, lay offs, passing, hold up) so far this season compared to how it was at the end of last season. Can't wait until we'll see him in top form.
  14. Brilliant performance from the whole team. Very solid defending both vs arsenal and chelsea. One norwegian pundit called it world class. I feel robbed, I seldom blame the refereeing, but that was freaking horrible. He should come under scrutiny(correct word?). Just horrific. We deserved 1 point if not 3 today. Gutted, thrilled about our performance though.
  15. Some people should eat some humble pieeez
  16. What's red and crawling up a leg? An abortion with homesickness.
  17. Makes a huge contribution defensively as well.
  18. This years Benteke. A bit hot headed when he came on, did really well once he settled. Some lovely passes too. Can't wait to see more of him. and in his natural position.
  19. He's more agile and speedy now, then what he was when he returned from summer as a bodybuilder three years back. Yet retained a lot of that core strength. Think he's found the perfect balance as you've mentioned privateer. He's also matured in his game. Think this will be his biggest season for us yet if he can stay injury free. <3 Gabby
  20. The black and golden/yellow away kit looks amazing. So does the Lazio inspired home kit. Would love if the kits would come in both slim fit and baggy fit too.
  21. What about some cocaine, figthing and Niclas Helenius?
  22. People seem to forget how much a sever injury can set you back, yet alone two in a row. Add half a dozen small ones on top of that. First of all it completely hinders your development, secondly it affects your confidence. A player without belief in his own ability will never shine. Not to mention he returned from a severe injury under McLeish, who never would have gotten the best out of him to begin with, regardless of his injury history. He never really got to go on a proper consecutive run until Lambert got here. I'm glad that Lambert is our manager and not us fans, who have a tendency to write players off far to quickly.
