  1. Did anyone really expected anything else to happen from the lineup we had compared to theirs? Blatantly obvious that we weren't going to give it a go. Ugly result but not as ugly as it looks, two last goals were a result of horrible individual errors. Should have had a penalty and some might argue that the second goal was hazardous play. Gave "the kids" a run out, and thats that. I don't mind the loss one bit and I'm rather pleased that we're out the league cup and able to focus more the league from here on out. Our worst form last season was at a time with a lot of fixtures with the league, fa and league cup. We simply do not have the squad to compete in all three competitions. Tonights result is more of a reflection of Lambert not giving a **** about the league cup and not a reflection on how bad our team is. I would not make to much out of this loss.
  2. Break thru season allbrigthon crossing to benteke, yum yum yum.
  3. Hey! I've been saying that as well! And Con! Viva La Revultion!
  4. Brilliant today. Won an amazing amount of tackles.
  5. Hopefully he'll make some appearances the last half of the season. Might be to soon though?
  6. Another solid performance today. He's been very solid in every appearances he's made for us so far this season. Long may it continue. Imagine Okore and Clark might be a smashing partnership in a few years time.
  7. Thought he looked very shaky as winger the last time I saw him played, but he looked a lot more assured when being moved back to right-back. Same goes for today, very solid performance. Deserves to be a starter until his for changes. As for that Redmond guy! He seemed like a complete doucehbag. First time I've watched a match on television and got a complete feeling of dislike towards a player. Wanted to punch him in the face. Didn't realize he had played for the blues until the commentators mentioning it when he got booed off the pitch by the villa fans.
  8. My favorite player. Surely must be one of the best goalkeepers in the league. I wonder how long we can keep a hold of him. He seems to love Aston Villa though, so you'll never know(call me naive if you'd like;))
  9. One thing is taking a few shots when you come on as sub when there is 10 minutes left. But doing it throughout a game, when there are better options to pass at times. And your shots are miles of, again and again and again, is idiotic. His lapse of concentration was appalling as well, looked like he was taking a stroll in the park on a Sunday afternoon when he lost the ball once. I don't criticize our players often, but that was a horrible debut. However there is talent there so we'll just have to wait and see. But he has to cut out these silly mistakes and get his feet grounded if he is to make it. And that quickly! *edit: spelling.

  12. Only problem is that somewhere along the line his crosses went to shits
  13. Not a chance. Big man going nowhere. Phew. You must have shaved your hands before this game........ Did you check the inside of his palms?
  14. I've actually been playing Nurnberg on Fifa lately, so might not be a bad shout
  15. Ironically you said this about Fabian Delph March 11th: "Hahaha. Sideways/Backwards passer who can't dribble for shit as he has the touch of a baby elephant at times. I love how he is become a revelation for some fans playing "better" than he has and we still lose" I've said recently he's improved, possibly more than any other player in the team, and has been the part of our strong showing with the other 2 midfielders. If in that earlier statement I am guilty of being overly critical, while I do think he's massively improved in those areas mentioned, he is still guilty of those traits at times. My main argument has been the lack of credit + unfair criticism of KEA being disproportionate to the praise heaped on Delph. FWIW I think KEA is superior at picking a pass and moving into space. It's just ironical that you criticizes peoples ability to judge a player when you're not much better yourself. Don't get me wrong, every praise KEA are getting is justified. Personally I was disappointed and surprised he was left out of the Liverpool game. I was also glad to see him in the startup versus Arsenal seeing that he had a strong pre-season. My impression was that this was the general opinion on Villatalk as well, a lot of posters complimented him for his pre-season performance So I don't get where this "I said he was good when everyone else said he was bad" is coming from. I've always thought of him as a direct replacement to Petrov or to be our next Petrov if you like, and just as him he needed time to adapt, as we're now seeing that he's doing just that. Some players never turn out to be what we expect them to be while others ends up being more then we expected, or just what we expected. You never really know, Therefore I try to see the best in our players and support them, which at times I end up being horrible wrong i.e Barry Bannan and Steven Ireland but luckily I end up being right at times as well. I don't understand our constant need to be point scoring over it though.

  17. Thinking about following the Bundesliga and therefore I would also like to follow a team. Not necessarily to support but as a way of easing into the league. Any suggestion on a team that's entertaining to watch but also with a bit of soul and character?
  18. Which has a video of him accepting people on the @g15bes account on there. He also posted a personal picture on his twitter earlier, but he deleted it rather quickly. I have no doubt it's him, despite what the club would have you believe. The Keek account is without a doubt his, posted a video of him and kea driving in Miami 18 hours ago. Also made a post from Germany when the team was over there for preseason. And for anyone who's seen the video where he logs into the g15bes account and accept followers there should be little doubt that it's him. Off course the club is going to deny it even if it is him, if he's acting like such a prick as being reported here.
  19. Cause it was a ridiculously class goal. God forbid people like seeing their team score top goals eh I've asked what was so great about it, and I've said clearly I'm missing something. So maybe you'd like to explain to me why it was a ridiculously class goal instead of responding "God forbid people like seeing their team score top goals eh". I never even mentioned it was something wrong with their reaction. Thankfully Jarpie gave me a proper response, so I'll try find footage where I can see the whole play and the goal as a whole instead of just the finish, and maybe I'll understand what the rest of you are raving about .
  20. Very well taken goal, happy for him. Would be great if he could get a goal in the league as well now. But why are people getting so worked up over a goal vs Rotterham? It's not like it's the winner in the cup final or something, clearly I'm missing something here...
  21. But it's not recommendable to sign a DM to a fantasy premier league team!
