    Gym Routine

Starting to really enjoy this program(posted below) even though it's though as hell. (started puking the first time I did it). The 20 rep squat really gets your heart pumping so it gives you quite the proper cardio workout. Did a 5 round stairs intervals(sprint 40 meters and 60 stair steps, walk back, repeat) followed by a 7km jog, finished off with a full sprint up a 120m long hill with 20% elevation the other day. This was done 1 1/2 month into the program without having done any cardio the past year, which I say is pretty decent. (copy paste) The New School Squats and Milk Routine Monday 20-Rep Squats Bench Press, 3 sets x 5 reps Barbell Rows or Yates Rows, 3 sets x 5 reps Seated Overhead DB or BB Press, 2 sets x 6-10 reps Romanian Deadlifts, 2 sets x 6-10 reps Wednesday Deadlifts, 10 singles Closegrip Bench Press, 3 sets x 6-10 reps DB or BB Curls, 3 sets x 6-10 reps Ab Work, 2-3 sets Friday 20-Rep Squats Dips, 3 sets x 6-10 reps Pull-ups (or negative pull-ups), 3 sets x 6-10 reps Upright Rows, 2 sets x 6-10 reps Standing or Seated Calf Raises, 2 sets x 10-25 reps

Have you tried close grip bench? Just remember to squeeze those shoulder blades together and "break the bar" on the way down.
  4. Unfortunately if you suffer from mental illness the general conception is that its the person itself it's something wrong with and not his/her body. Mental illness is your own fault other illness is not. But the truth is that a lot of mental health problems are related to actual physiological change in the brain or other parts of the body. It should be viewed and treated as any other sickness without the stigma, sadly it's not.
  5. or maybe it's because he's nowhere near good enough. He's made some tremendous steps so far this season. Not good enough yet, but he's certainly knocking on the door if not two steps away from doing so. Saying he's _nowhere_ near good enough is far to harsh! Two shots on target on 3 years... 3 YEARS over 3000 mins of game says otherwise and some people on this thread think he is a CAM and should be playing in behind a front 2. Ridiculous. Was that the best you could come up with? I'm certain he's having a good season then.
  6. I wish they'd scream PASS no matter where he is on the pitch. reverse psychology my friend, reverse psychology.
  7. You're not even trying anymore are you? You've realized you've lost the whole Bannan discussion and made a fool out of yourself. Instead of admitting it you decided to take it one step further. Your posts in this thread is starting to get rather pathetic with the amount of straw-clutching you're doing(which you're perfectly aware of). I've been dropping by this thread because I've been interested in how Bannan has been doing but there's little point as the thread only consist of your crappy posts and people reacting to them. If you had watched the game you'd be perfectly aware of the fact that Bannan had nothing to do with the Scotland goal, and that he was the one of the worst player on the pitch that day. Yet you decide to come in here, post a post like the one above, just to wind people up. I don't get it, but whatever rows your boat. Have a good one Con, you're properly the first and only person to end up on my Ignore list.
  8. I wish Villa Park would start screaming SHOOOT every time he received to ball regardless of his position on the pitch.

    Gym Routine

They do this in my gym.....I can't do this I get so happy with all I accomplish and then I see this crap and I'm just over here like oh, well I did 20 extra push ups. looks crazy enough to be crossfit shite It's utterly pointless and is just playing chicken with injuries IMV. Edit: haha, nevermind. The gif didn't load and all I saw was a guy in the middle of a power jerk or a jerk and clean. What I'm seeing now when the gif is loaded is complete madness.
  10. I think I've been doing that mistake for about as long as I've known English. Just learned something new, thanks! I'll tell you why though. When I pronounce losing, it sound more like loosing because of the "long o". The spelling and pronunciation fits more, while losing sounds more like "lawsing"(yes I know it's not pronounced that way). It's a mistake that I often do when spelling out my sentences, because they're based upon my spoken English.
  11. The mark of death has been placed upon him. Thanks for that con.
  12. I'd be surprise if Lambert would want him after last year. The article itself sums it up. “I thought enough was enough,” added Lambert. “It’s never been my policy to overstep the mark. I want people who want to be here.”
  13. I rate him very highly, one of very few Norwegians to possess technical ability at this age. He didn't get an assist last night though, Morten Gamst Pedersen did. As for Dæhli, it will take at least two years before he is ready like Januzaj is. Very small, not the quickest, I think he would be murdered right about now. But give it a few years and he can become a very good player. Would certainly be a great prospect. Properly the biggest talent of his generation in Norway. As Papillion says, I think he needs a few years to be ready for the premier league. Here's his involvements in his 30mintues cameo vs Denmark if anyone is interested: http://www.vgtv.no/#!/video/74474/slik-viste-moeller-daehli-seg-frem-i-debuten
  14. We should sell him to Newcastle.
  15. You really think he is good enough for villa and why? Are you from Norway? He's been doing very well for Hertha Berlin BSC. Currently 7th in the Bundesliga. 1 Goal 3 Assist in 7 aps. Knows how to beat a man. Does some very solid defensive work, runs his ass off, knows how to tackle. Quite decent at set pieces. Accurate passing. Able to play central midfield/attacking midfielder/winger. Wouldn't cost too much nor command to much wages. I didn't do too well for hamburg, but he wasn't being played to his strengths either. Some youtube: His days in Rosenborg, Norwegian League: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VOfJ54NuNIw Some highlights from his time in Hamburg: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_ko4EYow2w Highlights from his first match for Hertha:
  16. Fair enough I think my judgment of Bacunas technicality is a bit colored by his performance against Liverpool. I've mostly noticed his defensive work since being moved to RB. He's really impressed me there, seems unbeatable at times. But I think you have a very good point with his raw physicality making up for some weak defending at times. However I love seeing players being "runned/ran up"(grammar?) and tackled/muscled off the ball. I think Bacuna and Lowton would compliment and compensate each other, both defensively and offensively if they were to have a right side partnership. Overlaps, One-Twos and Crosses, all over the place!
  17. What's impressed me most about him(except his freekicks) is that he never seem to get beaten. He looks like winning every 1 on 1 challenge as a defending player. Correct me if I'm wrong here though. I just feel very safe with him at RB. It's also the possision where he stepped up his game. To me he looked a bit lost in midfield, but this was the early days though and it might have changed by now. Him being pushed further up the pitch changing the game against cardiff might be evident of that. I also feel that Lowton is more creative and technically gifted so Lowton being pushed further up the pitch might be more of a threath. Them combining and overlapping migth turn out to be very dangerous going forward no matter which of them plays at Rb. Not sure I agree with your assessment that Lowton is more creative and technically gifted. Only time I can remember I defense splitting pass in the league this season was bacuna slipping one in for el-ahmadi's goal against city. Also, think Bacuna has been shown to have excellent technical ability with his crossing, freekicks and I seem to remember him scoring a goal in pre-season where he cut in on his left and stuck it top corner. Only technically proficient part of Lowtons game where he stands out as being good is his crossing which i think he does better from a deeper position so would be more suited to doing so from right back. I wouldn't mind seeing Bacuna further forward either as right hand side of 4-4-2 or right hand side of central trio of 4-3-3 when gabby and weimann are back. To me lowton looks good with the ball at his feet, playing short passess, playing 1-2 and at crossing. Might just be me though.
  18. Anyone think we'll make a move for Per Ciljan Skjelbred. Being linked to unkown premier league and bundesliga clubs. He's obviously leaving hamburg so.
  19. Was told this before the match. Because he has two international matches aswell this week. Just coming back from Oldham, extremely dissappointing. Not sure this loan has suited jack aswell as it should have... Seeings it's only for a short period. I'm thinking in the lines of "what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger". Even though the loan might prove to be a bit of a harsh time and not the best of ways for him to develop his footballing skills, it will proparly imrpove his characther and make his skin a bit thicker. As long as it doesn't affect his confidence and beliefe in himself.

  22. That is possibly the best Villa side except maybe someone else instead of Weimann, it looks really good on paper. N'zogbia for Weimann, that's less likely to happen so Tonev might be another option.
  23. Congratulation to Strømsgodset, League Champions 2013.
  24. If the team is playing far from their potential, or if they're doing a bad job. I don't see anything wrong with letting them know at half time. Let them know, and support them fully when they enter the Pitch again for second half. You know those people who turn up for an audition at American Idol and signs horribly, who themselves believe they're doing a great job. Because they used to get pats on their back and a "You're signing great, son! Allways supporting the team might do them a dissfavour. Booing during the match or targeting a single player is something I'm completley against though!
