Tammy abraham with a blatant dive tonight, penalty given but decision not overturned by VAR? I wonder was it because the officials were all women and they didnt want to over rule them. FwIw it was the lineswoman that gave it, not the ref.
No what I'm saying is that El Ghazi falls over at the slightest touch and then rolls around like he's been shot. So even if he is getting legitimately fouled ref's are just going to assume he's diving again. If he toughened up a bit and did less diving he'd actually win more free kicks IMO. That's why I referenced the boy who cried wolf.
Goes down way too easily and seems to have the pain threshold of a three year old. If he's going to be a player he needs to toughen up and embrace the physical side of the game. If full backs know that they can rough him up he'll be totally ineffective in this league.
I think the issue is that the fans think Ashley is taking money out of the club rather than him not spending any. So they want him gone because they think a new owner might at least run the club at break even rather than taking money out. I don't know enough about the Newcastle finances to confirm, but I'd tend to believe the fans. Ashley is in it for himself, kind of like a fat Doug Ellis.
The amount of times they gave the ball away today was shocking. Also kante on the bench, wtf? Kante is a phenomenal player, he would get in any side.i wouldnt mind seeing Chelsea finish 10th this year, I love a good shitstorm.
We weren't schooled, Norwich were schooled last night. We were just playing a team that's much better than us away from home and we can leave with some positives and some things to work on.
