  1. No, in my opinion. He's just a striker who's job it will be to be a target, hold the ball up and lay the ball off to supporting players.
  2. Still hasn't learnt how to take a penalty I see. I never trusted him from the spot when he was here.
  3. Nope and the clowns in the BT studio talking absolute nonsense about it too. Very hard to listen to them.
  4. Tammy abraham with a blatant dive tonight, penalty given but decision not overturned by VAR? I wonder was it because the officials were all women and they didnt want to over rule them. FwIw it was the lineswoman that gave it, not the ref.
  5. Leicester 4/1 to beat Chelsea at the weekend is looking good now.
  6. Grabban looked 3 times the player Hogan was when they were both at Villa. Says it all.
  7. Usually it's a roads for minerals trade between China and African countries. All those precious metals in electronics have to come from somewhere.
  8. It really should be on there as standard given the shirt sleeve sponsor is on all the jerseys now.
  9. Looked very good and a bargain at the price we paid but it's early days yet.
  10. Is the rumoured green and black third kit released this week?
  11. No what I'm saying is that El Ghazi falls over at the slightest touch and then rolls around like he's been shot. So even if he is getting legitimately fouled ref's are just going to assume he's diving again. If he toughened up a bit and did less diving he'd actually win more free kicks IMO. That's why I referenced the boy who cried wolf.
  12. The story of the boy who cried wolf springs to mind.
  13. I don't think we will be signing any free agents like Sturridge. This is our squad until January.
  14. Goes down way too easily and seems to have the pain threshold of a three year old. If he's going to be a player he needs to toughen up and embrace the physical side of the game. If full backs know that they can rough him up he'll be totally ineffective in this league.

    Chelsea

They should but it might not be comfortable.
  16. Villa are favourites with the bookies, and rightly so.
  17. The sportsdirect.com stand brought to you in association with sports direct? I think they have four of those already, signs and all.
  18. I think the issue is that the fans think Ashley is taking money out of the club rather than him not spending any. So they want him gone because they think a new owner might at least run the club at break even rather than taking money out. I don't know enough about the Newcastle finances to confirm, but I'd tend to believe the fans. Ashley is in it for himself, kind of like a fat Doug Ellis.
  19. Oh there's a chance, a big one.
  20. Their three woeful centre backs worry me. It will be impressive if they can win the title with 2 clowns and a laporte as their only centre backs.
  21. He 'doesn't believe' in tactics. His words not mine. Absolute fraud of a manager. I cant wait to watch them burn this season.

    Chelsea

The amount of times they gave the ball away today was shocking. Also kante on the bench, wtf? Kante is a phenomenal player, he would get in any side.i wouldnt mind seeing Chelsea finish 10th this year, I love a good shitstorm.
  23. I think he could be a useful player for a lower premier league team but he's not good enough for CL level.
  24. A lot of people on here not understanding the gap between the top six clubs and the rest of the premier league. Its huge.
  25. We weren't schooled, Norwich were schooled last night. We were just playing a team that's much better than us away from home and we can leave with some positives and some things to work on.
