That time was a long time ago, before ~200k people were killed for example. Some woman's dog dying is the least horrific thing that has happened in the war.

The game is dying on its arse and has been for years. Just like test cricket there's no life in it. Young people in the British Isles aren't dodging school heading to the snooker club to play & smoke and there are fewer and fewer places to play snooker. Pool tables are being removed from pubs which is also a gateway into the game. Terrestrial television coverage is poor and shrinking as the years pass. The game is stuck in the past, talking about history and heritage with the same old war horses still plodding along after 20 years at the top. It's also a slow game that isn't going to appeal to the TikTok generation or big brands. The future is loads of Chinese players playing for world titles in Riyadh with very few Western Europeans involved.

It won't be a start though, because nothing will happen. Just like when the UN pass a resolution. It's just politicians/bureaucrats pretending they are doing something instead of actually doing something. It will be the same as when Putin was brought into the ICC, completely meaningless.

Yes Liverpool missed the boat not selling him for £140m last summer like they should have. Now the Saudis will probably pay half that for him but it's still a good deal for Liverpool.

Pretty much yes. We also have owners who seem more ambitious than Tony Bloom and who have much deeper pockets. Also our potential to grow is higher because of the bigger catchment area.

But they aren't going to post those profits year after year. They aren't always going to strike gold in the transfer market. That model isn't sustainable. Then if they start buying players for £40m who don't work out then the finances end up under pressure. Even if they do work out generally you won't really be able to make much profit on a player who cost that much. Lastly the more you spend on a player the higher his wages/agent fees will be. Brighton are doing exactly what you would expect a sensibly run club to do.

I don't think there's much chance of Norwich resting players against the filth. They will want to get some momentum going into the playoffs. Wednesday should be able to get at least a draw and Plymouth are playing at home. Fingers crossed the turd flushes this time around.

To achieve what exactly? Brighton have smashed into their glass ceiling. Their model is to sell their best players and hope good scouting fills the gap. That strategy is doomed to failure so Brighton will just end up a nothing mid table team like Palace who sell any player they have that's good.

Will he win manager of the year? He should but will he actually get it? If we win the conference league I think he will but if city do the double pep will probably get it.

Learnt nothing from the two Man. United games this season. Midfield went missing in the second half and we fell apart. Didn't deserve a point in the end. Fair play to chelsea, they were basically playing with 10 men having Mudryk out there and they still took us to pieces in the second half.
