  1. So horses were better just don’t attack the Russians with them
  2. It’s a great problem to have and we have the same problem at centre back. Do the same in the next 2/3 windows across the other positions and you have a squad that can challenge.
  3. I agree. I was never that bothered about Brexit as it seemed such common sense to stay in, I voted to stay and was very surprised by how dissappointed I felt when the news came. The Tories have been in the pits for about 8 years now, atleast Cameron and Osbourne had the illusion of competent politicians and im just glad austerity along with brexit has started to come home to roost during their successors, but the damage it has caused may not be reversible, it seems such common sense to get them gone. I having a feeling I will have that dissapointment again when this lot stay.
  4. He’s really not been a terrible football CEO, before him spurs had finished outside of the top 10 the majority of the time in the prem and never in Europe. Since him they’ve had Europe something like 16 times in 20 years and 8 of those in the champions league. His way may have become outdated and some recent duds in Ndombele and Lo Celso but recent signings of Bentancur, Romero and Kulucevski evens that out. Spurs fans have just become used to success and even with the 6/7th biggest transfer and wage budget they’ve over achieved in that time. However Kane needs to go for the good of the team, the money and the correct plan to build a team not just hope a world class striker can save you.
  5. This is exactly what Monchi was bought in for.

    Weather...

We had a scorching week or two in July last year it was horrible. We had high 30s and it was unbearable some of Europe is the mid 40s. Give me dancing in the rain all day.
  7. Monchis reputation is for scouting well, selling high and replacing well. We don’t need to spend big money, hopefully he can sign the next Lewdowski before he makes it big. We shouldn’t be disappointed with unknowns if they come in.
  8. Shame that we are making such great signings to be pictured in such a shit kit
  9. Is he on the America tour? There’s a young lad I don’t recognise and he’s tall and scored a goal in a vid so assume it’s him. Assume won’t get game time this season is he ready for a loan?
  10. I think he just hasnt progressed, he just appeared as he was and is now making him exceptional for a 17 year old. The way he plays to see a young player doing it you would expect great things. At 23 and over 200 games he has a goal scoring record of 1 in 4. I still dont want him.
  11. Agreed, the money trumps anything he might have wanted to acheive in his career
  12. I’d like to see a cgi mock up of the Doug and Trinity getting the same treatment with the Holte getting a different treatment to keep the brick facade.
  13. If he does to Saudi I’ll be disappointed for football as well as Villa. Same with Neves the rest I’m okay with chasing the pay check.
  14. For me its similar to signing Watkins, Eze, Toney, Phillips, Webster, Cash. Not necessarily taking punts on them but they may not be ready to be that top 6 player yet but they need to step up and none of the top 6 will take that risk. Hes a big lad aswell, he grew in to the season scoring some important goals I think it would be a great signing. Villa is the place for Johnson to progress and seeing comments Forest fans can accept losing him to us in comparison to say West Ham or Brentford. Alex Scott is also in that bracket.
  15. I only wanted to sign him due to his girlfriend Magui Corceiro. They’ve split up now so what’s the point.
  16. Clearly Diaby is 2nd in the list after Williams. The quality of the lists we make now would be great to see.
  17. While this is true and no doubt the indoctrination starts from birth the world is too big to not see some truth. They are not closed off like North Korea they will see enough of the outside to create doubt in some, so that when things like this happen that creeping doubt comes to fruition. Although the fear to express this is still there, I’d have my doubts whether I’d have the balls to go against that establishment or just live my merry little life. Patriotism for me is the real indoctrination, you see it here aswell.
  18. I don’t understand why it’s the BBCs responsibility to investigate it? I understand that there are internal and external optics for them to keep but if the presenter had got images from someone underage it would be with the police surely?
  19. He lost a set in the game he just won and should have lost the first.
  20. He clearly a player and probably comparisons with Coutinho before he exploded at Liverpool are fair. Hes worth a punt at a value that suits us not what he may become.
  21. I’ve bet on him to win at 33-1. This game has given me belief. Tisipas has a moster of a forehand and Murray survived that barrage and figured it out. Shame it was on late he looked like he’d broken him. Wonder if that momentum can carry into tomorrow and if that late injury will cause any problems.
  22. I think Sunak probably isnt a horrible person but he has money so his ability to recognise the issues of others isnt there. He looks afte his money and the money of other big boys. The rest of them are absolutely fighting for power, Sunak either cant see it or doesnt want to get involved as he is weak. I think its probably both. Braverman definately wants to be PM and no doubt sees this stance as a tick on the CV. The rest of them seem to be caught up in rhetoric, theyve either been caught up in it or chosen to jump on the bandwagon. Leading to some horrible comments, policies, actions, behaviour in the view of this is for the people. Its easy to see how horrible regimes of the past have gone down the rabbit hole willingly or not. edit: and some of them are just words removed. Get this lot **** gone.
