Agreed I've always liked Delph. I don't agree with Baz's comments that he's been crap since we've signed him. He's had good games, average games, below-average games and a lot of time in the treatment room. I really hope he can push on from this performance because he seems like a very level-headed guy with a brain in his head, unlike a lot of footballers.

At least Benty's off the mark in the League now. Despite the loss, a goal will do him the world of good.

I wasn't that impressed with him in the first half, to be honest. Maybe it was the poor stream at Rococo, but he appeared slow to intercept passes and lazy with his own passing.

Towards the end of the clip, it just sounds like Terry Tibbs. Taaaaayyyygers At Blackburn a few seasons ago, I remember them doing a chant that went "You what? You what? You what you what you what?".... which I thought was pretty daft.

But then my phone says that I can't access the video because I don't have the right flashplayer. I don't know if it's a random message that he has spammed to the world, or whether he has ACTUALLY sent me a private message. Hmmmmmm

I'd go for this. Benteke has definatly earned a start. Also, though Lichaj didn't do badly against Swansea, he wasn't one of our better performers. I think this is the perfect game to throw Bennett into because he would have faced Southampton last year. I'm looking forward to seeing Bennett, because Marc Albrighton said he has excellent footwork.

Nahhh, someone will take him eventually CI. He's still young enough to have a career somewhere, he has had a few decent games in the last few seasons & we all know he can put up a fight when he plays (even if it results in yellow or red cards). I can see Stoke or a Championship side taking him.

Gabby is just an athlete that has been trained as a footballer. Benteke's a footballer! I think we can see that Benteke has the ability, even if it is quite raw at the moment. Even the best strikers will miss chances.

I personally would like him to bulk up a little bit. He's still quite lightweight when against opponents over 5 ft 5

EXACTLY This. I voted Holman MOTM for his workrate alone. His first touch can be sloppy, but he's not a headless chicken. He linked up play well at times, at others he was just a thorn in Swansea's side! To add to your word on Nathan Dyer. I absolutely loved watching Concrete Ron angrily tower over him after he dived. I'm really hoping that's on Match of the Day later! Ooh Ahh Ron Vlaar!

You don't work with my Dad do you? :? Bloody annoying with him. He's all smiles and jokes when we're at home. When I call him in the office, it's serious time. Even when he acknowledges it's me he'll continue doing proffesional/office talk. I don't think so, he's about 25! The daft thing is, sometimes in work he will talk in his normal voice. I could just pass him in the office, say a daft joke, and he'd joke back in his normal voice. Then 5 minutes later, I'd hear him speaking to someone else and he'd turn into Bleeding Gums Murphy.

When someone has two different voices. I don't know if anyone else experiences this, but there's a guy I work with and at times he will talk in a normal voice. A happy voice that I've heard him use when he's on lunch, having a laugh, or out of work having a drink. THEN... There's another voice he occasionally uses, which appears to be when he's in 'professional mode'... It drops down to a lower tone, he sounds more serious. It sounds like the world is on his shoulders, maybe because his voicebox is temporarily being controlled by the spirit of Louis Armstrong. It's a problem on my part, hence it being in this thread, but when he uses his professional voice, I just want to punch him in the face.
