Relying on individual moments of skill will get you results in some games. But well coached teams tend to win more over a prolonged period. Simply not convinced Bruce and his coaches will get us there. Honestly hope I’m wrong.

Coaching is simply non existent . Bruce simply cobbles teams together, crosses his fingers and sends em out.

It’s not self righteous to call out a dick head. If it was said merely for effect....we’ll he got one.

As others have said. Just lumping balls forward is not playing to his strength. Play diagonal balls behind the defenders for him to run on to, and you are looking at a different player. That would though, require Bruce to show some tactical coaching nous, so I’m not holding my breath.

He really is a has been. Green comes on and has more impact in 5 minutes than this guy has all game.

Generally, the effects of walking off a cliff are more apparent after you step off the cliff, not before. We haven’t left the EU yet. In March, when we do.......that’s when the shit hits the fan.

The football Bruce served up week after week was, with the odd exception, truly awful. Henry gives me hope we just might start playing some decent football. All managers have to start somewhere. If it is Henry, then I’ll err on the side of optimism. ?

I’m looking forward to seeing us at least try and play some decent football under Henry. It’s been two seasons of utter garbage from Bruce and his soon to be gone coaching team.

Henry played at Monaco, Juventus, Arsenal and Barcelona. I think it’s a pretty good bet he will be a manager who will at least try and play a slightly more expansive style than Bruce. Bruce is a tactical dinosaur in today’s game. Henry’s CV is impressive enough for me to give him a chance.

Under Henry we might just start to try to play some decent football. Had enough of Bruces turgid safety first tactics.

With Bruce it was always going to be promotion or go. His style of football is turgid. Without an end product, I simply don’t want to sit through another season of such awful football.

Thought he looked better after Kodjia came on. Kodjia is a better targetman, Grabban took position wide of him and looked more effective.

Fulham are by some margin a better team than Derby. So if we get to the final, and it’s against Derby, I will be more than happy. Long way to go yet though.

I take it you never saw Billy Bremner or Johnie Giles then. Both small, both absolute terrors. Sid Cowans was pretty lightweight when I saw him make his debut aged 17. If they’re good enough, they’re big enough.

Have to say when Whelan was replaced by Onomah, and Uncle Albert by Kodjia, l thought we looked far more dangerous. More forward impetus, less sideways and safe.

I thought our midfield was our weakest part of the team. Still don’t like him and Whelan together, puts too much pressure on Jack to create anything. That said it was a comfortable win. We will be playing much better teams than the tractor boys though.

Neither Whelan or Onomah are anywhere near good enough.
