I believe eligible Pensions are protected up to 90% by the Govt pension protection fund. The reason the Govt went after Sir Philip Green so hard was because they didn’t want to pick up the tab.

Defined benefit pensions are vastly superior to defined contribution schemes. They pay out better returns than simply investing a savings pot. Annuity returns have collapsed. Why do you think so many companies have closed final salary schemes. I worked 39 years at JLR. Nothing special, just an ordinary car worker. I retired last year with a good pension. If you have a choice always choose defined benefits.

At this level he’s okay. Always seems to have a problem when pressured by an attacker, and not sure about his fitness, he was badly out of breath compared to Terry yesterday. If we go up , not sure he would be good enough in the Premiership, he wasn’t good enough for the barcodes at that level. But at the moment along with Terry he’s the best we’ve got.

Too old. Way past his best, which was never that good anyway. John Terry is an example of an older player who still has something to offer. Whelan was a poor signing who offers us nothing.

In politics nothing is impossible. It really isn’t that difficult to hold a ballot....on anything...if enough people want it.

I do think people should have the right to vote on the actual deal on offer and not the claims from either side before the negotiations had even begun. Or will “ the people” not be allowed to change their minds.

I thought Bruce was the man to get us out of this division. I was wrong, get rid now, before any hope for this season disappears. The standard of football he is serving up is absolutely appalling.

An excellent player, with a first rate career scoring record. Misused and played intermittently. In a team that plays good football he will thrive. In a team that plays hoof ball he won’t.

He’s a soft option player. Always looking for the safe no risk pass. He thought a pass to the keeper would be easier than trying to create some forward momentum.It blew up in his face big time. He really isn’t very good, a player well past his sell by date. God knows what Bruce was thinking when he bought him.

Please realise your mistake in buying this dreadful has been Bruce, before it costs us any more points. We have kids better than this guy.
