  1. Surprised nobody has posted in here since March. Been playing Ultimate Team since Feb and managed to build a decent side. It can be infuriating with what seems like scripting and ridiculous AI, but all part the fun when not throwing controllers across the room. I packed a TOTS Kante who I sold for for 720k so that's given me a great boost. Wish I'd kept him longer as he's going for around 900k now! My team -
  2. Looking at Forrens career his contract expired at Molde on 1st Jan, moved to Brighton in March and didn't get a game. Has played for Liverpool and Southampton in his career, could do worse than signing him on a free for competition.
  3. Only 23 days until the fixtures are announced. The countdown begins!
  4. I'm sure the Leeds fans would love to see Giggs have a crack at it...
  5. I'm really really bored, trawling back through the Watford thread to 2016, on a bank holiday, at 6:45, up with the little one! And Marco Silva, good appointment, but if I were him I'd have preferred the Palace job, much better players to work with.
  6. They're also close to signing a new keeper for a world record fee, around £40m according to reports. They mean business it seems. Chelsea, Utd and Liverpool are all going to spend too, so I imagine all sorts of spending records will be broken this summer.
  7. Hopefully this sets them back, as I thought they'd be challenging next season. A big test for their new owner to get the right man, as we all know, it's easier said than done!
  8. Does anybody else find it derogatory the way that Pulis refers to the owners as 'The Chinese'? When he says ' I need to speak to the Chinese'. And 'wait to see what the Chinese have to say' type thing. Ruffles my feathers!
  9. Top bloke. Seems like we're in good hands listening to that interview. Now it's time to deliver after 12 months in the role.
  10. As we know, a lot can change from one season to the next. Nobody would have had Huddersfield and Reading down as the 2 teams to make the play-off final. In this league anything can happen. We have a manager that knows the league and how to get out of it. A good set of players, and a full preseason ahead of us. The comments from Wyness show a determination to get us up, and they're willing to back Bruce to get his targets. Hold on tight, because to me, next season will be a good one. I don't fear any of Sunderland, Boro or Hull, and we have decent records against them, and this season has shown we have nobody to fear in this league. Consistency is key. No long winless runs and we will be in that top 2. With Hogan, Kodjia and McCormack all bagging double figures, with goals from midfield too. Or is that a step too far?!
  11. Cracking video. I just tweeted it to Kodjia, hope you don't mind, thought the man himself deserved to see it!
  12. Imagine the Villa deals you'd get on Groupon if true! I'd be surprised if it was, I thought it would be linked to Dr Tony and his companies.
  13. Out with the Newcastle boys last night by the look of it. Probably a hero up there! Would have been a good night out for him! And no, it doesn't matter really does it?
  14. He will be coming into a team full of more intelligent players. Hopefully the likes of Hourihane, Lansbury and Hogan can link with him, as earlier this season McCormack was a yard ahead of the rest of the team scarily. I feel we may see the best of him next year, or is that hope?
  15. I'm very disappointed here, I came in hoping to find kits with Recon and Under Armour mocked up! Slacking this year!
  16. I'd say Mulumbu, Ruddy and Bassong would be welcome additions to the squad. I'd say some are leaving as they're top earners, with those 3 being prime candidates to fit that category.
  17. They picked the wrong owner to make up bullshit stories about really, haven't they? The most open owner in the whole football league. Yeah good one Talksport.
  18. Glad they're finally getting relegated, they were like a turd that wouldn't flush, for even longer than us. Next season will be a slog for them, and i can't see them challenging.
  19. We had a quality mobile defensive midfielder whose stats are up there with Kante again this season, but the rest of the team was shit last season unfortunately. Gana has proven to be more than able in the Prem, just a shame we had to lose him. Jedinak is a beast, but has his flaws. As do 99.9% of Championship players!
  20. Still bossing it at Everton and ahead of Kante in tackles and interceptions by some margin, but very little mention of him again. Underrated player.
  21. Luckily that's not the best we can do, but didn't have to be at our best to beat the Scum. A wins a win.
  22. Come on Scotty lad, big game tomorrow for you! Bag is a goal or 3!
