I agree I'm very surprised by the standard of the championship. Watched the highlights show on 5 on Saturday for the first time ever and most goals came from a mistake, not good play. I've probably only ever seen play off games or the last few minutes on a Saturday in the pub before our game kicked off at 3, of the championship before so had fallen into this media trap that the championship is very hard. Like you say, we weren't very good first half yesterday, with a new coaching team and new players still to sign, yet we deserved to win. We should promoted this year in my eyes... Then the hard work starts for Xia, that's when he has to show his ambition.

Yesterday's performance was exactly why I've been saying all summer he should be playing as striker, it's what I saw last season. He doesn't like passing, but can beat a man with ease. He should be beating someone 20 yards from goal and being able to get a shot off or run in on keeper, beating someone time and time again 50 yards from goal doesn't have any affect.

1st half we were poor and the formation didn't look like, but even then McCormack was pulled back when through which could've changed the game. 2nd half, the tactics didn't really change but all of a sudden we got a foothold on the ball ball and dominated play. Play like that over 90 minutes and teams will struggle to contain us.
