They are a very young club but they do have real fans, especially since being the only real club in Paris. Number of plastic fans have absolutely exploded since Qatar took over thou. They've had some fantastic players over the years, before Qatar.

I have no idea really, I watch a fair bit of French football but mostly the bigger games and I don't think I've seen either of them play.

Doucoure played 90 mins for Lens in a 2-2 draw against Saint-Etienne and got a 7.0 on both Sofascore and Whoscored. Pape Sarr played 83 mins for Metz in a 2-0 loss against Nantes and got a 6.6 and 6.2 Did not watch either game, anyone who did?

Absolutely not, midfield is unbalanced and Smith and the new players will need time to gel and the old ones will need time to adjust to a life without Grealish. Nothing wrong in aiming for Europe, but there are at least 6-7 teams that should finish above us and another 3-4 that are at least as good as us.

Mare of Easttown is very solid but not amazing yet after 5 episodes. Bit annoying that the writers seem to have thought it very clever or interesting that they named the protagonist Mare because they have all the other character say her name all the time, like much more than necessary.

Maybe as we need 18 months of strengthening to have a squad with players closer to Grealish quality and he was not willing to wait that long and wanted CL football. European football the season after next seems a sensible thing to aim for. CL is a pipe dream however ambitious our owners are. City, Man U, Chelsea and Liverpool are decades ahead of us.

Midfield is not good enough, full backs not good enough but we should expect a top 7 finish and European football otherwise Smith out. Tuanzebe should play as DCM and everyone thought it would be easy to replace Grealish. Sure I missed something, not read through most of the threads after the game yesterday.

Think he'll be very useful for us and that he's a great attacker, but I did not expect us to sign such a high profile, established striker since I couldn't see how one would fit in with the line-up or players we already have at the club. Still not sure about it but as long as Watkins is injured I'm delighted that we have him.
