  1. just seen another video of people hopping the fence and it sounded like they were shouting at security to open the gates as they had tickets. it sounds like they've just closed the doors and not letting any more in, ticket or no ticket
  2. been there a few times and they don't have that at stade de france. it would be difficult to do that logistically based on my experience there.
  3. you saw the way they sprinted like their lives depended on it once they got over the fences? no way they had tickets
  4. also bizarrely the stadium was alcohol free until a couple of years ago watching people who didn't know this guzzle down pint after pint 0% heineken was funny though
  5. i speak from experience, stade de france is shocking to get into. im not surprised in the slightest
  6. https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/spoke-coach-innovations-after-stranded-24088229 jeez you'd be raging wouldn't you i can't imagine many of this lot had tickets. i don't think any that did would use some mickey mouse coach operator for something so important
  7. i might be wrong, but i think as they are a PLC all stuff like this has to be publicly disclosed

    Wolves

surely that's gotta be around a 70m+ outlay if they get both? can't imagine they can afford that
  9. i can't think of a time where a club legend has been a PL manager at the same time said club he was a legend of has been in a CL final
  10. Pretty sure it was during an international break when he played the charity game anyway

  12. doesn't bother me in the slightest. Just posting cause i know it'll make a few on here foam at the mouth
  13. hear hear. i only want JT if mings is staying put
  14. my point still stands. if we sign tarkowski that gives us 5 quality CBs. it's a nice headache to have. edit: and if one were to leave, i think it would be konsa. he's been rotated by SG for chambers at times. i think SG wants more ball playing defenders and konsa aint one i;'m afraid
  15. i think the likes of ty and tarkowski would believe in the project. i think theyre the sort that would be 100% professional about rotating. it also means we will have a stronger starting 11 in the cup games. as a player you want trophies and medals...i'll be disappointed if we dont make a serious push for one of the cups and having better depth will help with that don't forget, win the carabao cup, you're in europe
  16. EXACTLY we need multiple good players in each position if we are going to progress the idea of "we've signed carlos so mings is off" is ridiculous i don't want us to be in the position where we're forced to play hause, or carlos has to start even though he's got a knock if we start next season with mings, carlos, chambers, konsa and maybe even one out of tarkowski and the rangers lad that's a pretty solid array of options at CB
  17. very well summarised. the reason i'm a no, is that we can probably find someone who isn't a bit bitey or racist that also ticks the points you mention in the 'pros' section
  18. what i don't get is that older artists than ABBA are still going strong. if they were dead then i'd kinda get it, but they're not. it seemed like a lazy money maker to me
  19. yep - charity of the winner's choice yeah?
  20. 30m???? glad you're not in charge pal until recently he's been an england regular and is his club's captain. these do not go for 30m quid. put a 30m price tag on him and probably you'd probably have most teams in the PL bidding for him he's had an amazing season. our best CB by far. he's still playing his part, it's not past tense. i'm 100% confident that he'll still be an AVFC player and captain on Aug 6th
  21. BBC absolutely loving this ABBA show. for those that aren't aware, there's a new ABBA show whereby there's a live band but the group themselves appear as 'avatars', essentially digital so not singing live. and apparently it's wonderful and is 'the future', so much so that other bands are considering doing the same i really, really, really hope it's not. it's not for me. if you're paying to watch a band, the minimum i expect is that they're there in person
  22. not much coming through the academy CB wise is there. i don't recall bridge or bogarde on the first team bench last season so think they're some way off so that just leaves josh feeney. be good to get poach some more youth CBs. i think mings would be an excellent mentor, both on and off the pitch. i think it's a position not usually entrusted to youth though. probably the position where experience is most required. you can be a young, quick winger or striker and be given a chance because if you **** up it's generally no big deal. konsa is only 24 though remember. could be argued that he is still young and learning.
