they get 'leaked' literally every year. and funnily enough the 'leaked' fixtures never match the real ones i read an article yesterday around how they put them together, they wont even be finalised yet.

it would be fun no doubt. im probably giving this way too much thought considering it's never happening but it's a ridiculous suggestion when you think about it so the players can't link up with their new team mates until the weekend before season starts? so no pre season with their new club?

its great for the players you're buying but what about the ones you're losing? it could properly depress you imagine, weekend before the season starts..."and, man utd are pleased to announce their new goalkeeper...emi martinez!" you'd be raging...especially if you'd already bought your new shirt with a player name on the back who you only find out is leaving just before the start of the season it would indeed be box office and a fun watch, as long as your team had a good window!

my JWD review: i can see why the critics hated it. it was all over the place and the plot (such as it was) was utterly bonkers. but as a viewer, probably the 2nd most enjoyable JP/JW film after the original. you can pick holes in it all day long, but it's a proper rollercoaster of a film that was super fun to watch

looking at that small highlight reel on the AVFC twitter it's easy to forget he has actually played a fair bit in the PL too with some lovely goals (fulham, norwich, newcastle) cant we just keep him and sneak him on whenever we get a corner or free kick? they've been shite ever since he left best of luck conor

i'd like to think this applies to any loaned out player that SG has yet to see in the flesh. yes, even the likes of guilbert. realistically it's another loan, i'd wager he'll go back to preston.

the below is based on a couple of tidbits ive read plus the trailers/tv spots...it's not mega spoilery from what i understand, set expectations low, and just try and enjoy it and not take it too seriously...apparently if you do that, it's quite a fun ride. i'm booked in for 2pm tomorrow

i'm quite happy to forget about that new PL era to be honest. we were absolutely shocking and we'd have 100% gone down if COVID had never existed. suso and deano (although i still love him) signed some absolute pony with the likes of targett, guilbert, wesley, trez and luiz but it's great to see that we're moving on and upgrading these players

again, not really seen too much distain towards him. we're allowed to think a player is crap if we want but at the same time thank them for their efforts and wish them well. wanna see distain? pop into the mings thread after a defeat

trust me, players don't give 2 shites about what people on villatalk are saying about them. it's not like we're sliding into his twitter DMs most of the comments have been pretty respectful. thanking him for his efforts and goals but acknowledging that he's not a very good footballer. this is backed up by the fact that he's playing in turkey rather than anyone decent and will probably move for similar money that we just paid for robin olsen

seeing the wesley and trez threads being bumped makes me shudder with bad memories trez at least gave us some great moments though...considering how god awful he was for us overall, he scored some of the most important AVFC goals of the past 5 years

runs of results come to an end one day. we will beat utd at home at some point it'll happen. i'd rather not give them the chance and it's not been an easy 6 points for decades. only once in the 3 seasons in the championship did we do the double over them, and only 3/7 of the prem seasons watching them from afar is much more fun. derby matches are only enjoyable at the final whistle once we've won. the rest of the day is shite.

they would just start a new club so they wouldn't go away being in the championship is still too close for comfort though. i'd love them to be relegated. ideally to national league so we cant even play them in the efl cup

we 100% overpaid for him. he wasn't even first choice at southampton 15m is about fair i'd say but i'd hope for some performance related add ons

there have been some years where they have not sent out new cards if you have renewed and just to carry on using the old one would prefer that personally, more environmentally friendly

therein lies the problem. i think you become immune to it to the point that it's like a toy. some of us in the UK still get surprised and even unnerved when we go on holiday and we see police with gun holsters. we look at them as exactly what they are...a very dangerous, deadly weapon. we don't see them day to day. many in the US just see it as another household item that they are perfectly legally allowed to own, no different to a car, and probably look at gun related deaths no differently to traffic related deaths

already caught a few spoilers/plot leaks and need to stop cause it looks great and i need at least SOME surprises. supposed to be very good though, albeit a bit too fast paced apparently. i know it's already a long film but apparently could've developed the characters better
