    Looking forward to going to this, but worried about their reaction to yesterday's spanking. Kamara is our best player by a country mile and he will be badly missed. That said, this is a poor West Ham side and we've done well on the road under Emery so we have every reason to be confident. 1-2 Villa.

    Still not in the top half and looking at the fixtures, we probably STILL won't be even if we beat West Ham! Great to win back to back games with clean sheets though. An ugly win, but we owe them that for the game at Selhurst.

    Newcastle are not going to be remotely in our orbit in the next few years. They are the richest club in the world and will spend like it. Whoever they sell, they will replace. They are on another level entirely now.

    So every clubs forums always predict their team to win? That's just not true at all. In fact, the reason I pointed it out was because it was against the norm, as someone who regularly trawls other fans forums to read their views from another perspective.

    It's funny how often people spell Forest with 2 R's. It wouldn't be in predictive text so you'd have to actively spell it that way and I think it's a throw back to Craig Forrest the goalkeeper. Can't think of any other reason. Not a dig at you, I see it often. Just musing as to why people do it. Not that it matters.

    Yeah I agree. He is a good goalkeeper but not the best in the world. He has won this award because of the World Cup and not because of his performances for the year at Villa. That said, it's great for the club to have a player win such an award and it shows you don't have to be playing for CL club to do it.* *(Just winning the world cup with Messi in your team will do) Well done Emi.

    Palace forum has pretty much all of them expecting them to win. 2-0 or 2-1 to them seems a common prediction. With a couple opting for them to win 3-0! I guess that's what happens when you lose so often at home, other teams don't fear coming to play you. We badly need a win here.

    Gone at 77. The sound of football for me as a kid. FA Cup 3rd round day, along with Tonny Gubba and Barry Davies. Then theres the England internationals, the Cup final and the early editions of FIFA on the PlayStation. Legend.

And moreover, the modern day so called Boxing "fan". 20 years ago I swear hardly anyone watched it (other than the big heavyweight fights) Nowadays it seems the world and his dog has an opinion and every single fight on the planet. Then when you look at the people who are actually there, they seem to be the absolute dregs of society. The worst of the football hooligans. A total chav sport. At least it is these days.
