Great news, hopefully comes out of that positively and makes progress in the next couple of u21/friendly matches. We might yet see him get some minutes in the prem this season after all.

He is undeniably a premier league footballer. Before his untimely injury in Gerrard's early days, he was arguably our best player for a while and our results with him in the side and in form, were solid. He's not a top 4 or even top 10 DM, but he can comfortably operate as a mid table holding player for sure.

We'd be absolutely mental to sell him. Mental. Even half good strikers are rare as hen's teeth now. Chris Wood went for £25m and he's total dogs**t. Isak is reasonable and he cost £65m. Let him develop here.

Has been and will always be my favorite player at the Villa, even whilst others were doubting him during various downturns in form. Nothing made me happier than when he signed a new contract. His English is amazing now as well, came across brilliantly in his post match interview on AVTV, a million miles from when he first arrived and he's made a noticeable connection with the fans now. Clearly loves the club. I hope he makes 400 appearances for us and lifts a trophy to become a legend.
