Dewsbury Hall was 22 when he broke through at Leicester in the PL. He'd been at the club 8 years and not played a game for the first team before that season.

If I remember correctly, was McGinn not dropped in favour of Ramsey at the start of Emery's tenure? Was only 1 or 2 games but I think SJM was dropped. Will be interesting to see if this is still the case when both are back fit. EDIT: Sorry for going off topic.

If you can't see that if, at 21 years old, he carries on his stratospheric progress and development from the last two seasons he will be an outstanding PL midfielder then I cannot help you. The kid is a physical beast, can carry the ball at speed (something so few players can do), can shoot, can finish, and has improved his ball retention under Emery no end. He is fine details away from being worth £50m+. Transfermarkt already have him at £28m and he is the standout midfielder in the England u21 set up. He is absolutely critical to how we play as we have literally no one else who can advance the ball up the pitch. Sorry, but he's excellent. Emery got him straight back in the second he was fit and I regard his assessment of our players far above yours I'm sorry to say.

I was sat at half time in the Leeds game watching him and Nakamba keep warm. Naka was smashing the ball 50 yards at him, he took it on the volley, controlled, 2 or 3 keepy uppies and launched a sumptuous volley back at Naka pin point over 50 yards. Ball never touched the floor. Did this repeatedly for 15 mins. Never missed one. Gets on the pitch and looks like a league 2 donkey!

Unai has clearly stated that he's after a winger as a top priority. I would love for us to go after Pulisic given how ridiculously Chelsea are being run right now. He has no guarantee of European football next season and has already stated that there's a good chance he's leaving the club this month. Would be expensive as hell, but at 24 and where we're going, it would be amazing.

So from this graphic you've managed to make these points: He's only equal on goals with Sterling who's had one of his worst ever seasons for a side who are a total shambles and is being openly mocked by his own fans. He has less assists than Jack who has played 2/3 of the mins and has only started 9 games. The other clear indicator stats of quality: Yellows, Reds, Aerials won (lol), shots per game (loooool).... Not xG, not successful crosses or anything useful, just how many cards they have or if a winger can win a ball in the air He's also the second worst overall rating on there. Then, to top it all, you've added in Chukwueze who has made 8 apps and 8 subs appearances all season. Class. Underappreciated.
