Konsa is a ready made RB switch for Cash and suits the Emery system brilliantly, its just we need him for CB at the moment with Carlos on his way back. I would be delighted to start next season with a back 4 of Moreno, Mings, Carlos, Konsa. As others have mentioned, your bang wrong about Konsa and being "done". He's barely been done at all this season, if at all.

Emery sent Archer out on loan and brought Duran in and kept him in the picture from day 1. Duran is getting minutes now in very important games which shows Emery trusts him. Other youngsters are not being shown the same level of trust that he is, they've not been recalled or have been sent back out on loan (Archer, KKH etc.) For me, he is more than capable physically (I'd argue he's already pretty much the best athlete at the club) and has shown enough in cameo's and his international apps to be in the picture for next season. Of course he's going to say he's one for the future, he doesn't want to place pressure on a kid who's just turned 19 years old. But this kid looks to have the capacity to progress incredibly quickly, which is most likely the reason we paid £18m to snap him up.

Watkins is massively rated by other fan bases. I'd argue that Douglas Luiz is the most underrated player at Villa, and one of the most underrated in the league. The guy holds the team together.

That game was as far away from a "thumping" 4-2 result as you can possibly get. If anything, we were desperately unlucky to lose. Two of the goals for them were literally delivered on a silver platter through mistakes from playing out from the back. Leicester are a horrible team at the moment, they haven't won a game in 6, scoring only 3 goals and losing 5 games in that run and we should be heading into that game with massive confidence. They are in the bin and managerless. It will be a massive test of how far we've come under Emery if we don't pull a classic Villa and cock up against a side who cannot buy a win.
