I fully support England because on social media I always feel supported by English Villa fans when going through hard times (found a massive amount of support when Mrs MNVillan went through chemotherapy in 2019). I want that to be a two way street. I’m taking off work early to watch the match on Sunday and I’ll be wearing my England shorts (yes, shorts) while watching. I’m American, and **** I’m jealous of how you all must feel right now, and the potential for Sunday is massive. Enjoy it, savor it, and bring it home. Just don’t support the Packers.

My friend who’s an Arsenal supporter had to give me $20 in 2020. $10 for the fact Villa stay up and $10 for the fact Arsenal failed to qualify for CL. I gave $10 back this year for Villa failing to finish above Arsenal. Our next bet is who will qualify for European football first, Villa or Arsenal Edit: oh, and your friend is delusional.

Monochrome is awesome, it makes our badge way better. The washed out yellow on our current lion blends in far too much with the baby blue. But it is still our Badge and colors. Monochrome badge should be reserved for the 3rd kit.

Disagree. Always thought it was dumb. Each team has 90 minutes to try and score goals at home, and another 90 minutes to try and score goals away.

Most embarrassing was the FA Cup Final 2015. Completely overwhelmed by Arsenal from the off. Most depressing was the playoff final 2018. Watching time melt away and our Premier League chances with it. Thought we were in for a long rebuild after that loss.

This is interesting to me. Is there not a few pubs around VP that people go to and then walk straight into the ground? Is it more that people drink away from VP and then take the train in before the match? This is a serious inquiry, I’m surprised I haven’t gotten more responses saying “go to _____ pub across the street from VP, will be packed with Villa supporters.” Of course i don’t know the area at all

Will this be streamed on AVTV? I’ve backed Sevilla as my Spanish club, this is exceptionally interesting to me -

In terms of Timberwolves vs. Bucks, no not really. But in terms of the state of Minnesota vs. the state of Wisconsin, definitely. Vikings vs. Packers in the NFL is huge.

It’s mainly set in Minnesota, yep. Particularly, our home city of Duluth is on the far western tip of Lake Superior. We’re a massive port city.

Excuse the ignorance, but what’s the weather like in Brum in November? Short sleeve shirt weather or should we be buying Villa sweatshirts for the match? We’re from Duluth, Minnesota. Only a couple hours south of Canada, so we’re not afraid of cold weather.

I appreciate this. I think for a nightly basis, we’re trying to experience Brum as Americans, not Villa fans. However, on match day we’re going to be full on Villa and she’s prepared for that. We’re not traveling to VP to sit anywhere except the Holte!
