    I agree with this. As long as he’s committed, it would take a ridiculous bid to lure him away. At the right price everything is for sale, but we’d be entertaining bids that offer us the opportunity to use that money to sign multiple world class players to replace him

    If Jack ever leaves for another non-PL club (one of the Spain superpowers, PSG, or Juventus, essentially) I’d buy their shirt with Grealish on the back. Don’t think I could bring myself to buy a shirt of another PL club though.

    I really like the top version. It’s a third kit, go wild. Tame third kits get forgotten, the wild ones are what is remembered. One of our most beloved away kits is Christmas colors.

    To me it’s not Villa. I’m not a “claret body and blue sleeves” disciple. That should be our kit 4 out of every 5 years. But when we do switch it up, the blue and claret need to be alternated vertically. We’ve had claret and blue stripes, Luke’s shirt had blue vertical segments down the side. As far as I know, we haven’t mixed claret and blue horizontally in a home shirt. but hey, to each their own.

    Fwiw, I’ve heard that the kit release will be in July again. I don’t like the trend of wearing a new kit for the last match of the season. However, don’t understand waiting until July. Surely the kits have been sorted at this point, and they probably have been submitted to the PL and maybe even to EA Sports for FIFA 22. The longer the wait, the more likely the kits leak.

    I think there’s a good argument for Barry, Chuk, and Kesler to be involved with the first team next season. I’d also listen to an argument for Brad Young.
