  1. This Arsenal team is shit. We needed more control of the ball and we would have wiped the floor clean with them. Douglas has to start next week alongside Nakamba. and to all the posters ‘Arsenal Are a top side no- one expected anything from us etc etc’ please watch the game again. It was there for the taking. We should have carried on attacking them. Instead we invited them over to our box time and time again.
  2. I believe that Luiz and Nakamba have to start the next game. Grealish McGinn and Trezeguet in front of them with Wesley up top.
  3. I wish Julian Nagelsmann was our manager. Smith is bottling his own philosophy. Lambert did the same. Where’s the high press? Where’s the possession? Where’s the off the cuff plays in the final third. We look like being relegated. This Arsenal team is shit. And that’s with 11 men.
  4. There’s no need to worry. It’s just a game. We have shown enough in the first few games to show we are a threat. We played some beautiful stuff against Spurs. We dominated Bournemouth and we we’re comfortable against everton with the exception of two chances which were mistakes from us.
  5. Again if the ref is giving free kicks to one team and not to the other for exactly the same fouls naturally the team (Villa) are going to struggle. Reality is Referee made a shocking decision which even the neutrals are identifying. P.S Newcastle last season didn’t get a win until November. My brother is a Newcastle fan so I know this because he bitched every week until they did.
  6. We will get 4 points from that lot.
  7. With Mcginn not being given the foul against Spurs we would have been 2-0 up. Had Engels scored the header against Bournemouth......If buts and maybes.
  8. Still made the change. It’s a tactical decision.
  9. Bought on El-Ghazi who scored to make the points safe against everton. Good tactical change there. He is learning too as he has never coached managed in the big league.
  10. We have had 4 games in which we could easily have been unbeaten. The ref fooked us today. We should have battered Bournemouth, Spurs we were given two bad decisions which may have changed the game, Everton we beat.
  11. The ref played a huge part today. Constantly giving free-kicks to the opposition breaking up play with niggly free-kicks is going to affect our play. Regardless of overall performance we have been robbed of a battling draw. A draw which builds confidence and character. The premier league is about character. Performance doesn’t matter this early as our players are adapting.
  12. Zaha Clearly pushes him in the back and clips his left leg, Cahill pulled his leg back but Grealish was already off balance and played the ball to Lansbury who finished admirably. Shocking decision.
  13. He has played really well even though he is adjusting to the higher standard. He will get better. Crated most chances in a game this season vs Bournemouth. 6)
  14. The lottery numbers for this week are...
  15. Englands number one England England's number one.
  16. I love the way he was positioning everyone, “ you go there watch him, drop off, push up ‘ etc etc etc. Another captain in our squad of captains.
  17. Made plenty of tackles and interceptions. A very good defensive display. Made some good incisive passes forward and his interplay with mcginn even had Neville and Carragher ogling over them. We beat one of the favourites to disrupt the top 6. Cant fault anyone on that pitch today.
  18. His best performance so far this season. He seemed to be stronger on the ball today. In the first two games he got out-muscled but today i remember at least four occasions where the everton players bounced off him. Excellent.
  19. Smith mentioned on sky the tactics were to hit Wesley quickly. That then meant Luiz didn’t see as much ball.
  20. I said he has ability. That flick around the corner wow. His performance reminded me of Rooney against us when we lost 4-1 . One of our players got sent off. His movement and first touch away from the opposition was special that night. Wesley showed his doubters that ability is permanent.
  21. “In his second season with us Benteke started really really well. Then he got a niggly injury and was bought back too soon but that niggle became a major injury meaning he missed more of the season he should have. Had he not had that injury I believe he still would be an effective force. Wesley imo has better touch and technique than Benteke in what I have seen so far. It’s close between them but Wesley’s passing is way better. “ You're correct my comment was crazy. Wesley is the better player full stop and will go on to better things than Benteke.
  22. He had 91% pass completion from 57 passes. He played the pass with which McGinn had that 30 yard rasper. The pass itself was simple but it was forward and took out their midfield line. He was okay in the first half apart from that obvious mistake. Awful is too harsh imo. But like you said its all about opinions.
  23. Away fans should not be allowed to sit behind the goals. Ever.
  24. A point I wanna add is it seems the poor refereeing of The Championship has followed us to the premier league. We could easily be on 2-4 points had decisions gone our way.
