Agreed - but as it is, he is a perfect left-footed backup to Mings. Never complains about not playing regularly, great header of the ball, gives 8/10 performances when he does play (at least since start of 2021).

Thank you so much. I was starting to believe I was living in some dystopic future where I was the only person who could see a player having a bad game, while around me braying lemmings were giving him 9/10 and declaring him player of the tournament.

McGrath is still number 1 in my lifetime...just. There's an argument that he's objectively in the top 10 centrebacks of all time ffs However, Jack is without question the best player we have ever produced in my lifetime, and definitely in (Mason) Mount Rushmore for Villa players. -

I kind of get your logic, but I think it does get away from the fact that we support Villa cos...we like watching football? And specifically them, as our team of choice, play football? It would be nice if they allowed us some virtual way to do so.

Depends on a) whether we keep Grealish and b) if we do, where we intend to play Grealish. If he stays out on the left, then yes get rid of Jota and another, but personally i would be putting him centrally and buying two first choice wingers, with AEG and Trez as bench options.

Scott Hogan - release They for me are the ones that offer no benefit by sticking around or are not worth inquiring as to keeping on. Projected total of 15.5m in fees, but I'd take 10m for the lot if offered now. Feels good to not have an excess of dead wood for once though!
