I don't think I've ever seen him play, but I find it rather off that people's main issue with Nyland is his bravery, strength and ability to control and organize his box. Yet this video is all about reaction saves that we know Nyland is very good at. Not once during that video did he show the individual ability that's the main criticism of Nyland. Just to be clear I am not saying this lad doesn't have them, but it is rather strange to get off to this video based on what people think our current goalie is lacking.

Completely agree. I never want to say that loudly cause the rest of the world seem to have an infatuation with it all. While I love the time off, food and drinks, I utterly hate so much about it. 1) Too many people in places I want to be alone 2) People who are bitchy and whiny for the entire year, yet put on some fake ass life when Christmas comes around. 3) Shit movies, shit shows and repetative bullshit without any content whatsoever. 4) People spending money they don't have on stuff people do not need. 5) Cold, wet and snow. I hate snow, and cold. 6) Being around kids. All in all it's a materialistic holiday filled with fake boring shite. It pollutes like nothing else and makes people who can't budget broke as hell in January. Cancel the entire **** thing and give me flexible holidays instead. Leaving for Spain today. **** this weather and **** these stupidly cheerful rocket polishers.

Obviously, but when you look at this club, its fan base, facilities, history, potensial for revene growth, location, it's easy to argue we belong there.

I am really struggling with this tactic of keeping 200 players on the books and loaning them out. Surely this could be regulated in some way a bit better? I know it's kinda to championship teams' advantage, but I bloody hate it. And we belong up in the Premier League anyway.

I agree, but I also think we struggled keeping possession without him. I'm not sure whether the statistics back it up, but I had the impression we invited a lot of pressure cause we fumbled the ball a lot in midfield.

I am no big Whelan fan, but he is very good defensively. And the question for me is why 5 other attacking players can't handle the offensive aspect without him.

He really wasn't. I lost count of the amount of times he had a hugely important play. He was a bit unlucky with the block, but ultimately it was as much of a team ****-up than a Hutton error. Just like the baggies goal. Unfortunately people never observe and remember 90 min of football.
