  1. Good championship player. Not good enough for the prem mind. Good luck to him. We will be fine.
  2. Ok have now tried reducing my warmup from 20 min row to 5 min row, to see if I had more energy and better lifts. Absolutely no difference. Same lifts, same frequency and same kcal burned.
  3. Guess I am getting old, but I prefer whisky over beer these days. For every pint of beer I drink, I end up pissing two pints. Drives me nuts.
  4. I think he's shit. But it's weird. He has ability, but it seems to be a concentration issue to me. Any way I digress. Needs replacing.
  5. Har my first leg day with a new routine yesterday. Needless to say I am unable to sit on the toilet today. Hoping I am able to do my upper body tomorrow, but right now I am so broken haha. #greekgodbodysummer2019
  6. I'm currently managing Roma and it's a faceroll. I wonder how much cash I need before they allow a new stadium to be built though
  7. So close to buying a bottle of Macallan 18 for the weekend. 300 quid is a bit heavy though
  8. Must say, for all the talk about our academy the last 20 years, it's shocking we don't have more players stepping up after becoming a championship club. Some serious changes has to be made.
  9. Never understood that about dogs. I've met a lot of boxers and they are really gentle and nice with everyone they meet in all age brackets. If they don't like someone they normally just sniff them and move on. But they can be so incredibly aggressive towards other dogs it's rather funny. Like humans = top notch, my own species = mortal kombat.
  10. I've always thought the better tactics is to have fullbacks that can defend and a midfield that's able to create. The reason we're missing Grealish so much is because Hourihane, Lansbury, Whelan, Bjarnason are all pure dog shit going forward.
  11. Could also argue he's a PL footballer on a PL salary, playing against championship defenders. Arguably he should do better.
  12. Always thought you considered it by grams/ kg. From what I've read from the Norwegian centre of sports excellence anything above 3 grams/kg is pointless. Since my calori intake is quite low atm, I've done a protein shake each morning the last 10 months. Still not sure whether it actually has any effect.
  13. So much position talk on this thread I am getting randy.
  14. Ok cool! I will try a few lifting sessions where I do cardio last.
  15. Hope he can improve our passing. Whether it's done by coaching or getting in new players, it has to happen. The reason we are missing Jack so much, is in my opinion cause the rest of the team is just absolutely dog shit at pass and move. The amount of times I've seen us pass into nothing or an opponent the last few matches is ridiculous.
  16. I am still laughing at it. I refuse to call it workout. Know I'm probably wrong about it, but I just can't bring myself to do downward dog or whatever. Ironically I've been told by 2 different doctors to start doing yoga due to neck, shoulder and backpain combined with tension headaches.
  17. Well, I feel kinda ok with my fat percentage now. It's hard to know what you guys think in terms of weights loss as I could be speaking to greek gods or something. Guess I could add a photo if that makes it easier to assess. I prefer lean mass I think. Well I just wanna keep slim and bulk up. Know that's a slight contradiction, but that's essentially what I'm trying. Love rowing before my weights though. I get really knackered after 20 minutes rowing. I'm not good at it, just love how I can go hard for 20 minutes and be worn down. Normally around 4600-4900 m depending on the day. The sweat just kills me then. Not sure how much 20 minutes cardio affects my lifting tbh. I will try lifting first to get a feel for it as you say, but normally I feel pretty fresh and ready for lifting after 20 minutes cardio. Gonna try improve my deadlift technique though. Was at 330 pounds, but the technique is really bad. Doubt I'm even at 280 now after losing so much weight. Gotta go harder on my legs as well methinks. What back exercises should I do ? Hangups, rowing and deadlift has been the circuit so far.
  18. Just too much shit IMO. We have some very inconsistant wingers. Not enough graft for ny liking. Abraham, McGinn and Grealish are good. Hopefully the new keeper as well. Rest of the central midfielders are beyond average. The defence is straight up shite. Depth behind Abraham is ok I guess.
  19. Using knives isn't very typical for English thugs is it? Always thought you were more Skandinavianin that sense
  20. Okey need some input and opinions. I'm currently gonna step up the workouts. Gonna try and keep averaging 4 days a week. I'm looking at 3 different workouts. 1) Warm-up 20 minutes rowing. 1 hour weights. Rotation of bench, hangups, bicep curls, dips, leg raise, situps, plank. 2) Warm-up 20 minutes rowing. 1 hour weights, deadlift, squats. 3) 9-10 km rowing cardio workout. I'm thinking about skipping the cardio completely as I don't need to lose more weight, but since I cut my rowing in half, I've noticed my back getting smaller. So I'm unsure whether I actually should cut that workout. Maybe I should just do this 3 set workout once a week. Say 1, 2,3,1,1,2,3,1,1. Opinions?
  21. I don't think we have a very good squad at all. I haven't for quite some time. Most Villa fans overrate their own players and undervalue players they don't know that well. It's not on Smith though. He has had us playing some really nice football compared to the dross Bruce served up. Lets let Smith work a couple of windows before we get worried about this and that.
  22. Two big issues is surely 1) our defence. Again totally utter **** shit. How many goals have they let in the last 10 matches? 2) the midfield. Not even sure what to say. Bjarnason, Whelan, Hourihane, all utter crap. So slow and clueless on the ball it's unreal they are professional footballers.
