  1. Fourth time this match they are either kicking the ball away or blocking free kicks and no yellow cards yet
  2. So if we take Whelan off, would you want O'Hare on or Hogan?
  3. I guess one could argue we don't need a DMC in this match, but wouldn't the rational thing be to substitute the box to box midfielders with a playmaker to resolve the lack of creativity? I mean we could throw the sink at them here, but it's not like Hourihane are doing a whole lot. I do kinda agree with you mind.
  4. Well he is played as a DMC. You can't expect him to be Romario.
  5. Still not sure what Hourihane is supposed to be good at.
  6. Whelan has done fairly well to be fair. If we were to go more attacking I'd be inclined to take Hourihane off.
  7. It's also a bit too negative to use Whelan at home IMO. It's Stoke not AS Roma
  8. I think we should have tried O'Hare today tbh. Whelan isn't needed here.
  9. Spent money on that once before and the service was shocking.
  10. Ok fair enough. I've had a few Ardbeg already, so forgive me
  11. Looking at that video I still maintain Chester had at least 10 yards on Hutton.
  12. I am. But the way I remember it Hutton was at least 10 yards ahead of Chester. Yet Chester couldn't read the pass or intercept the ball on time. Thus Hutton had not only to recover 10 extra yards, he also had to do the job as the holding defender despite this being Chester's job.
  13. I thought Chester was holding the offside line deeper than Hutton at the moment the ball was played through? In fact I was certain of it. So that's incorrect? Anyone got a link to the play?
  14. I still don't understand why Chester didn't recover it when he was the one pulled back holding the line.
  15. I also find the "EU dictates us" a rather weird way to look at it. Norway you could say are dictated by the EU as we have no input in reality, yet we tend to oblige to almost everything. You guys were one of the power houses in the EU and could easily dictate EUs agenda. I know that wasn't what you said, but I've read it so many places in comment sections and it's rather weird.
  16. Confuses me why "less rules" is found attractive when the rules are sound and generally an advantage. But I guess I don't understand all the nuances.
  17. As a foreigner who just briefly reads all the brexit stuff. Can someone tell me the positives of a brexit? What's the main argued points as to why you would want out?
  18. Still reminds me of a young Carlton Cole.
  19. To me it's just a very favourable risk/reward scenario.
