Everytime I've seen him he's looked really good. Slotted in very well and the odd times he's come on for us. He may have lapsed some concentration or maybe put a foot wrong but that was under Gerrard so I'm happy Emery wants to try and integrate him. We got to see if he's going to useful for us or we sell him. Time for the youth to do a job (JJ, Grealish) or if they aren't quite good enough, but obviously talented we sell (Archer, Philogene etc).

Arsenal apparently have/had this with their youngsters. Bendtner was notorious for it.

Sounds like they were relying on that income to keep afloat/function. Once the accounts were frozen and that sponsorship was a no go, they don't appear to have a plan B.

Be interesting to see how he does, if he gets thrown in and plays alot of minutes, and if he gets injured. Can be a problem with players not playing much and then all of a sudden you're playing 90+ minutes every week. Not saying it always happens but he' barely played at Citeh and I'm pretty sure he's had injuries too while he's been there?

Seem to be going retro but with a modern twist. They're nice. I'd wear one or two of those. Obviously there's a couple that would make great door mats.

I saw a pic of him training the other day so thought he'd be back in the first 11 yesterday. Then when I saw Lenglet and Carlos I thought "oh is he on the bench and he'll come later, great.......he's not on the bench either....oh". Like others have said he's not just great defensively. His passes and link up play from the back is solid. We're missing that a little at the moment.

I was going to say the same thing. The difference is Chelsea have all their players they've bought on crazy long contracts. Some of our buys weren't great (in terms of contracts and length/money), and we were relegated/in the championship when that was going on.

I've got so confused with all the badges floating around that I thought this was a really nice fan design. Until I googled it and it's actually the badge we're currently using on the kits Back on topic, this as an away/third kit theme would be so nice.

This is it. Especially as they are already competing with NFL, NBA, NHL, college football and college basketball at various points of the season.

Ye Miami's season was dreadful until they made those signings, but it was too late basically. Next season they ought to be favourites to walk the league, with the quality they have. MLS defending is diabolical at the best of times.
