    You can see the class he has, I'm looking forward to how he plays next season with a full summer rest and preseason to get to full fitness. 5G 3A in 17 games worth of minutes so far starting from a base of no fitness and no form having not played for 6 months and not played as a RW for 18 months. I'm confident he'll reach 10 total G+A this season and get close to 20 next season. Only problem he has atm is that he's not good enough to carry the entire team's wing offense when the opposite wing has Trez providing the square root of **** all threat.

    They definitely exaggerated some rivalries within the midfield in the first season seemingly in order to make maximum use of the footage that they had but overall it's largely centred around real talking points of the seasons. I thoroughly enjoy the extra footage and sound bites they manage to get of the team principals sniping at eachother. It's not shown chronologically which is a bit disconcerting and there is a lot of season highlights completely missed out but I would say it's worth a watch. It's main benefit for me though has been recommending it to people in order to get them interested in the sport.

    Blimey some big scores in the irreverentad league, @AndyM3000 has also had a stormer with his FH. It's cool though, I just need a villa clean sheet and a Watkins hat trick and I'm golden.

    New season of Drive To Survive is up on Netflix. They've really turned up the dramatisation of some of the stuff to 11 this time but it's excellent popcorn material. I haven't finished it yet but they've introduced Mazepin without mentioning what a little turd he is which was a tad disappointing.

    Am I missing something, Eric Dier has been dropped for the last 5 weeks for playing shit hasn't he? How many consecutive weeks of being dropped for being too shit does he need to accrue to drop behind Konsa?

    I have 11m in the bank, most I've ever had I think. I was going to get Auba in but I don't want him longterm so I just got Smith Rowe as a 4.2 bench fodder

    The Stephen Ireland comparison seems about spot on at this point. I live in hope he can turn it around and Barkley seems more professional than SI was but the parallels are definitely there. Thankfully this time we've only got a loan deal and not a fee and four year contract.

    Saw him at the gym semi regularly when he used to play for them and on multiple occasions witnessed him shouting at teenage staff for no apparent reason. I also saw him intentionally drop his towel in the middle of a corridor for the staff to pick up like he thought he was the Sultan of **** Brunei. My mate swears blind they watched him open a cupboard and throw his litter in. In summary - Yes, he is a thick scummer and will fit right back in.

    I'm going to risk Son not playing and leaving me with 10. Over the years I've been repeatedly burned by making moves in order to make sure I put 11 out in blank weeks, it has rarely paid off. I stupidly transferred out Martinez for our blank against Newcastle and it cost me about 25 points and 0.5m in value before I could spare a transfer to get him back in.

    There seems something weird about Son where he appears to be able to heal muscular injuries in about 2 days. I'm sure I remember getting tricked by it multiple times over the years.

    I think having multiple people there is key to helping him continue to act as required. I saw a documentary about a similar situation where two friends had to help their boss in the same way for the entire duration of a weekend at his beach house.

    I shouldn't laugh but that is like a caricature of how FPL seems to go some weeks. I never bench my City assets though (Pep does it for me unfortunately). If they play they return a decent amount and if (when) they don't then my subs fill in with 2 points.

    I've got 9 as things stand (with 2 FTs in hand) but two of those are Son and Bamford so potentially only 7. I'll probably wait until after the EL games before I do anything though, I'm eyeing a cheap Arsenal attacker instead of Auba I think.

    I ended up with 49 which gave me the smallest green arrow I've ever had. 92 places, 0.1% change. Considering I didn't even reach 50 points and my front 7 got 0G 1A between them I'll take that.

    Top 3 and bottom 3 I agree with, difficult to know where the middle 4 really sit though based on what we've seen imo.

    Add to that how hilariously unstable the back end looked at times and there is genuine hope that the new aero regulations have hurt Merc more than anyone else. That said I still won't be overly surprised if they turn up in two weeks with a new rear end (or even a copy of McLaren's new diffuser/floor layout) and take 1-2 in qualifying.
