    The Liverpool game could well turn out to be one that burst their bubble. Good to see for now but they will have to replace Howe at some stage to get back their momentum.

    With corrupt despotic states involved in football now it is very fertile ground for corruption in officialdom. Decisions like that today helps create more suspicion.

    They are doing Liverpool a massive favour by paying a fortune for once great players with too many miles on the clock and massive wages. O If Liverpool were clever though they would have had our Diaby bought to replace Salah.

    Might be wishful thinking but it would be nice if Dortmund fans might organise a decent protest display over the Saudi ownership. German fans can have a bit of backbone.

    Erling Haaland was still playing for Molde when he was that age, therefore Duran can be better than him.

    Arteta last season was a fluke, they have built a good young squad but their form last season went to Mikel's head and he has gotten too clever for his own good playing without any fullbacks. Last season they had a lot more balance with Xhaka and Zinchenko on the left, while Ben White was surprisingly effective on the right outside Saka.

    We need to stop Josh Cullen having any influence on the game as he is their hearybeat, hopefully McGinn can slot in centrally and bully him there as he is a bit lightweight at this level.

    I know he fully deserves it but from a very selfish Villa point of view it will be good to keep him fresh during the international breaks.

    He was quality for Marseille last season and given our style of play he would suit us as a rotation option with Moreno more than Digne. A good second choice if the Acuna deal isn't possible.
