  1. Just not very good, Mourinho liked his aggression but a limited enough footballer.
  2. They knew at the start of the 21/22 season that they needed to sell to meet future ffp. They would have been ok if they pocketed the Richarlison money but decided to spend big on Onana, Maupay and McNeil plus the Tarkowski, Alli and Coady wages.
  3. Really hope he kicks on and starts to fulfill his potential when he gets a chance now.
  4. Who could have predicted that Nottm Forest signing roughly 40 players could have led to ffp consequences, was stupid and unnecessary.
  5. We do need full back cover badly, any long term injury to Cash/Konsa/Moreno or Digne would mean that someone will have to play far too many minutes, especially if we continue to progress in the Conference League or FA cup0. He is a good footballer who may make the odd mistake but with his athleticism would be more useful than say Chambers to cover at full back either side.
  6. Bobb ahead of Grealish in the pecking order now.
  7. Leicester were back in the running for champions league football for two years running before COVID messed up the owners business and that coupled with things going stale under Rodgers led to their downfall. They had a good run though.
  8. He has pissed his career away at a soulless sports washing project though. I know the likes of Man Utd and Liverpool are horrible clubs too but they wouldn't be as bad as playing for a nation state with a terrible human rights record.
  9. I had forgotten Conor Coady went there, can't get a game either. He should have went to Saudi and he'd be going to the Euros.
  10. Yep doing humiliating stuff is not a good idea for a football manager, a bit like the time Mourinho was doing paddy power ads but worse.
  11. Don't think Arteta can recover from the videos that have emerged online, nobody can take him seriously as an individual now.
  12. Doing the easy thing of ripping Piers Morgan to shreds on social media today, disappointed that he hasn't been linked to any clubs yet though.
  13. Hopefully they will do a better job than they did with West Ham's efforts. The recent Arsenal templates have been solid so reasons for optimism there.
  14. Yet he was an important part of them winning the champions league. Could have been more clinical but suited Tuchel's style. He will function well in Tottenham's system.
  15. Yeah he should be physically well able for it, like Revan. Some players like Barry take longer to build up the strength required.
  16. I forgot that Middlesbrough have a league cup semi final straight after this, they will surely put out a weakened side.
  17. Because Forest sat deep and didn't give them so much space. They are toothless if you do that.
  18. If we can't sign a RB this month then it is imperative that KKH is recalled from Plymouth, it will be a step up for him but we could do with the extra option and he can cover left back too.
  19. We need to move on from our Christmas hiccups and start the new year with a refreshing win. Would like to see a good bit of rotation but a win would be nicer given our pathetic record in this competition recently. I'd go: Emi Konsa Diego Carlos Lenglet/Pau Moreno Kamara Iroegbunham Zaniolo Diaby Ramsey Duran A strong bench then.
  20. Yeah he started his season great for us, got injured and could not recover his form and fitness. Jacob Ramsey then offered more legs towards the end of the season.
  21. People forgetting the 70m spent in Casemiro too (plus big wages), was good season last year but he had serious miles on the clock and his legs have gone now. At least when they signed Schweinsteiger that time there wasn't a big fee involved.
  22. Konsa is one of the quickest centre backs in world football though, not many capable of outpacing him.
  23. If he started yesterday then our performance would be a lot sharper, McGinn is amazing but when playing deeper he takes too many touches at times. Kamara moves the ball sharper with more one touch passes. Douglas Luiz can play with more freedom too. He will be badly missed the next two games too but hopefully we can step up.
  24. Really hope they pick up more injuries this evening, understandable that they are naming a strong team again but the load on the players is not sustainable.
  25. When he gets fully up to speed again he will be like a new signing, given how important to us he was in the second half of last season it will be nice to have that back again.
