    It’s getting to a stage where you can understand if owners start pulling funding, you can’t be spending 50. 60 million pounds on players for these amateur decisions.

    I don’t think anyone truly believes that, I feel it’s more that Archer didn’t want to be backup and he shouldn’t be, his career is short he should be getting minutes. This could be our smartest decision selling him to a premier league team and utilising his buy back next year or the year after.

    For me, I can see the appeal for the older player chasing a last contract but for a young player I can’t imagine there going to go grow, only 5 foreign players for each team means a lot of poor quality still.

    I’d be happy to keep him if he was happy at being second choice and would renew his contract at a lower wage, heck I’d even give him a further year for stability. We should not be loaning him out though, the only way a loan should even be discussed is if it’s a guaranteed future purchase, not app dependent. Would take a buyer from Saudi.

    I’d love to see archer make it here, also understand he is 22 this season and we have a few younger strikers coming through the ranks like Rory Wilson. Could be good business.

    This is such a good idea, have to reach a certain amount of points to achieve a certain level of payments. would keep the bottom teams competitive all year and the football league would probably like the idea aswel.

    The guy is probably still living out of a hotel room at this rate, it takes time for a player to settle into a different country with a different language and different players.
