  1. Great result, our quality came to the front in the end , Bellingham taking on a couple of players made all the difference. From then on in Senegal wall a busted flush. We are where we should be. Question is can we play beyond our quality, our defence looks shaky and France will test it and this will be a downfall unless our forward line can dig us out of it. MOTM..... Bellingham.
  2. Make some subs, get kane off, Bellingham, last thing we need is an unnecessary card or injury.
  3. Bellingham and an on form Grealish would be a sight to behold......ain't gonna happen though .
  4. Walker and Shaw look so off the pace..
  5. I submit, dreadful shape, through balls from defense are our only chance of creating anything.
  6. Love the Summer Row Shakespeare, great blend of customers, old, young , tourists and locals. Usually pop in there before and after food at the University College Birmingham restaurant, highly recommended as well, great fine dining at decent prices.
  7. I watched it and agree, felt quite sorry for Del, like a punch bag. The Dubois fight was a farce, ref was all ove the place. Hes spouting off about fighting Joyce again, can't see that ending well for him.
  8. He wouldn't be his first choice, it would test wilders chin and tbh I'm not convinced with it from what I have seen. Mind you Wilder may get to Joyce first and knock him out, I would pay to watch it though, in fact any fight with Joyce in it would be the one I wouldn't want to miss. For me Joyce is the most exciting fighter out of em all , stick him in against any of them and it wil be a great fight. AJ's fights are the ones I would most likely give a miss.
  9. For me the most interesting heavy weight fight would have to involve Joyce, either against Fury, AJ, Wilder or Usyk. I don't think it will go that way though, suspect Fury v Usyk is a done deal. While AJ and Wilder will avoid Joyce like the plague.
  10. Dreadful match up but it's obvious Fury gave Del a payday, reckon his purse would be the biggest he's ever had, just hope he retires now,l. Del's guys got the heart of a champion if not the ability.
  11. Dubois very lucky tonight, leg went in the second, looked like a dislocated knee/ ankle . Went on to stop Lerena in the 3rd, ref stepped in as the 3rd ended and after Dubois landed shots after the bell, unbelievable decision IMO.
  12. On 4, it wont fail, it maybe deystroyed if we allow it. 7...... Who would do the washing up?
  13. Discarded rubbish, i must be getting old , it's doing my head seeing plastic bottles , takeaway packaging just thrown all over the verges of the road. I watch with admiration the volunteer litter pickers cleaning a road only to feel frustrated when the rubbish starts building up almost immediately.
  14. Yep.....but it's his opinion is what's most wrong not his figures and the BBC should run an article on that as well as a his poor grasp on percentages.
  15. Seen the recent stats on the 'minority white' articles and couldn't help reading this article thinking the BBC was bound to have a balanced view on why immigration is good for the UK. Instead they had an article explaining how the percentages Farage used were wrong. "Why Nigel Farage is wrong about London being 'minority white" By Reality Check BBC News https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/63806518
  16. I think , boilers only use there full power when heating the hot water. A better way (for me) is to measure my gas usage at the meter on a daily basis and work out how much it's costing me each day.
  17. Christine McVie, Fleetwood Mac. Brought up in Birmingham, started her music career here as well. RIP.. " Christine Anne McVie (née Perfect; 12 July 1943 – 30 November 2022)[1][2][3][4] was an English musician, and the vocalist[5] and keyboardist of Fleetwood Mac, which she joined in 1970.[6] " https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christine_McVie
  18. He shouldn't have even mentioned they had broke in or that they was anywhere near his house, no comment , no comment.
  19. He was guilty, without doubt. Did he deserve to go to prison for 22 months, I'm not to sure tbh? They didn't mention if he had previous convictions so it's hard to say. TBH if I caught someone breaking into my house I would be happy they run off and would just call the police. If they was in my house then it's game on and anything I had would be used to get them out or render them harmless. Secret is , in your house, the law is more forgiving.
  20. Veretout playing for France, not very impressed Tbh....
  21. The criminals just said, "no comment , no comment", he was befriended by the coppers who then encouraged him to admit it was a red mist. From that moment on he was going to prison.
  22. Yea your right, efficiency is an easy effective measure. Be nice to see some government money used to develop some new ideas. I know cladding has a bad rep but for wall insulation it's seems a good place to start, especially for small scale properties, houses etc. It's an area that the government is really lacking in , forward thinking and it pisses me off that the people in charge seem to be the most lacking in any sort of inventive thought, just self serving salesmen and women.
