  1. I can't remember one, seen the stats as well, we didn't play well tonight, played with fear , apart from Saka after he lost the ball for their goal. At that point he started to fights , most of the others just went through the motions.
  2. We never had a shot on goal in open play, they either hit the post or was a penalty, clue is "shot on goal"
  3. Did we have a shot on goal? When he brought Saka off I was shocked , he was our most effective player. .........Grealish is a far better player than Rashford or Foden, if you don't see this then I'm not interested in your opinion . Our midfield was dreadful, Rice and Henderson never created anything, great at 2 yards passes and some last ditch tackles but we're against players like Griezmann, we need more from the middle Pickford was middle championship level, first goal was poor from his point of view Southgate yet again has failed us, that 3 tournaments in a row where we have failed to even get close to opposition we should be, imho, beating .
  4. Just seen Southgate happy clapping, don't worry we will be ok.
  5. Created nothing, we need a change and Southgate won't change it until its to late. That's why he's a crap manager, same as the Croatia game and the Italian one as well. Henderson and or rice are just not creating anything, good at two yard passes but dear god we have better players on the bench.
  6. He ain't if he plays for your team.
  7. He will get caught but the payoff is he lands shots as well and wilder has to be willing to take em toland em. Fury would probably be able to get in and out without getting to heavily caught and maybe Usyk as well, Wilder......I'm not to sure about. Even the thought of them two getting in the ring together is exciting though, far more exciting than Fury v Usyk. I don't think Wilder will want the fight though, it's to risky for him
  8. Good point on the heights, I'm sure it won't be lost on Croatia who are a big powerful team.
  9. Not for me I'm afraid, not yet. Think it maybe the fact it's been played during our winter rather than the summer, mixture of barbecues and watching in foreign bars is always going to be a better experience. The football has been ok but both quarters have been cagey, the ref spoiled the Argentina Holland game, think he gave Messi to much respect, let him off for a blatant handball (no yellow) and then gave him fouls when he shouldn't have. This then spread into the game and he lost control,.some of the tackles flying in were red cards. Turned into a nasty game, refs fault.. Messi's pass and Modric's overall performance today were highlights and the second Holland goal...........
  10. Can't believe how bad he was, ref was in Messi's pocket for large parts of that game. Martinez, what a performance.
  11. Funny as this may seem, we have seen similar from Jack at his height of form. Passes that normal players can only see on TV.
  12. Croatia as a whole have been ok , frustrating to watch as they just lack quality , other than Modric , who just has so much to his game, his passes are sublime but he's strong in the tackle.....wonder how good he is as penalties.........
  13. Modric is the best player on the pitch.
  14. Game time, feels like the real world cup is about to start. Can't wait.
  15. Your talking to the converted, we need to give the Brexit voters an escape route, a way to change their minds without admitting they was wrong. At the moment their entrenched in their belief it will come good and will risk further damage to their lifestyles and ours to proof they were right. It doesn't help that the press and media are running scared of criticising the whole shit show brexit has become.
  16. I agree, to show the brexit voter's and supporters they were sold a lie is the trick and the way to do it, imo, is to question the politicians on the promised trade deals to make up for loss of EU trade. When the politicians start to the explain the difficulties, as you have pointed out, the penny will start to drop. If we continue to question the whole brexit process then we just go around and around in circles , if how Boris imagined it playing out would have happened then we would be in a good position, Boris was was foolish and the voters believed in him.
  17. GDP was always going to drop leaving the EU, the sweetener was improved trade deals with the rest of the world, question is where are these deals and why aren't the ones we have good enough to make up for lost trade with the EU? Problem really is there such a cluster of total mess ups from this government the lack of trade deals "tis but a scratch"
  18. Henderson has been ok but the midfield hasn't been that great for me , Bellingham has shone with moments of brilliance but we don't seem to hold possession there for very long, tend to play straight threw it or go over it.
  19. I wouldn't be to disappointed with this as long as it isn't for Bellingham or Rice, that means Henderson would have to sit it out.
  20. As good as Mbappe is for me Griezmann is where our main attention should be, stop him and you stopping the balls out to Mbappe and Any runner. We are weak in defence, Walker (because his not fit ) and Shaw are both slowish. I can see Mbappe switching to the French right to expose Shaw. And the middle two have looked unsure at times. We stand a chance but for me they are the strongest team in it so far.
