    Chelsea

If Russia invades the Ukraine then Russian businesses will have their assets frozen , reckon this could affect Chelsea reading some of the threats Boris and his fellow accomplices are making .

    Keinan Davis

He's not had a chance to prove himself at any level before this loan move. We have been dreaful at loaning out our talant for years and Kienan is the latest player to have his early career damaged by it, criminal.. He's got something about him that's for sure , he's fast , strong but he's also tidy with the ball at his feet, as someone else pointed out , Antonio all over. Hopefully he will grow into the player I think he can be at Forest , he will need some luck with no injuries and to keep in with the goals, if he does I would sell him with a buy back clause or sell on fee so we can buy him back or benefit from his further development.
  3. Looks very tidy considering he's only been there a short time. Great to see our loan moves starting to work out, Jedinack needs a slap on the back .
  4. I wasn't joking, his head has definitely been turned for some time and he's turned down countless opportunities to increase his wages by not signing a new deal, his still on his original contract from nearly 3 years ago. Not sure he would do this to sign for Spurs or Arsenal who aren't challenging at the top and don't offer huge wages. Problem for Barcelona will be the huge wage bill , it will be ok if they can build value into players but if they go there and fail then they are stuck with massive overheads with no value... Dougie may flourish with more space in the middle , that the Spanish league offer's. I would rather keep him than not but he's not the most important player we have. The real problem is stopping us losing other players like this, with Jack and Dougie going it may get other players thinking their future is somewhere else and that's a much bigger problem when trying to build . We have to keep the contracts long and get the players to buy into us building to match their ambitions.
  5. Its not choice , he doesn't want to play for us anymore. I would guess he wants more money than we can offer and who can blame him. He's probably been tapped up by Barcelona.

    Keinan Davis

He will most likely have a run of games now, Grabbon went off injured and it looked pretty serious. Time to shine Keinan.
  7. Its blindingly obvious he won't sign a new contract, why else would we let him get to this stage on his contract? We have shown with other players our policy is to sign players to long term contracts. I would guess the SG comment is to try and ramp the pressure up on Douglas to sign or to leave. My thought is he will do what lots of players are doing and run his contract out then sign for who he wants at very high wages. Arsenal and Spurs are pissing in the wind , they will never meet his wage demands, maybe Newcastle might, they are desperate but what sort of fee could we expect, it's won't be high if his wages are going to huge. Its a bit of a mess tbh but it was highly predictable.
  8. Lyon wouldn't pay as much money as us either, I would guess. I'm with you tbh, not excited by this but Gerrard must see something and he did start well at Juventus's, apparently.
  9. Has anyone read any of Juventus's match reports when he has featured or better still seen him play? I have a read 2 and he seems to be scoring between 5-6 out of 10 , most of their players were tbh. General comments seem to say he started well but has faded under certain managers, be interesting to see him at international level. A DM in the premier League is at the highest level IMO, it's the relentless pace, one mistake and the pressures on....if we have to sell Doug then I would want a proven PL DM or a very highly rated one from elsewhere, is this player that good? We are losing a Brazilian international who plays the DM role and I'm not that convinced with him, at DM.
  10. We could buy Bissouma with the money we get from Douglas , it would be a worthwhile sacrifice IMO and the wages would be lower .
  11. We do need to sell if he won't sign a new contract, he only has 17 months left , we will know within a few days of he's going, a contract extension is being negotiated now.
  12. Think this a battle we all go through..
  13. I would say we have but nothing can be agreed, once he gets to his last year in his contract he would be a fool to sign for us when he can go for free on a massive contract because there's no transfer fee to pay.
  14. Wish I hadn't been so selfish, I look back at things I have done , said and can't understand why I was such a clearing in the woods.
  15. If they invade they are committing to a conflict that will most likely last year's and end with withdrawal from at least some of the Ukraine if not all of it with their tails between their legs, as we did in Afghanistan and Iraq. Military forces can only defeat another army , they cannot change the opinions of the occupied population and in most cases they will polarise opinions against them. The worry is the disruption caused, populations displaced with the nearest boarders being EU countries. The refugee crisis could worsen considerably.
  16. His contract situation means we have to sell if he doesn't want to sign a new contract, or we lose him for nothing. He's a good player but not irreplaceable. £25,m and he's gone imo.
  17. Should have 10 second time limit for the decisions, if it takes longer than that then it's not clear and obvious and the refs decision should stand.
  18. Yep that's what i was trying to say, they give figures like 8mm to on the sides 12mm on the top and bottom.
  19. You can buy doors with more material to remove , there more expensive though and check the sides, top and bottom have the same amount of material to remove, some have different amounts around the same door.
  20. I don't think Gerrard would allow it at villa either , maybe one of Smith's weaknesses.
  21. I don't dislike him , I see certain things in his game that I question, most parts of his game are excellent. The city goal wasn't his fault, imo.
  22. What a player, his will to win is what we have missed for years .
