Interesting weekend for me. Interview tomorrow afternoon and then off to a rave tomorrow night. Interesting because I'm 41 and don't know if I'll last until 5am Sunday when it finishes

Wow. The guys been out for almost his first season with us due to a horrific injury. Bit soon to be saying he's Shyte. Hes stuck with us and I bet he could have moved to the prem if he wanted. Cut him some slack.

Really pleased with the results we are getting under Bruce. Nice to hear the crowd getting behind him again amazing how much more solid and less jittery we seem to be. All about getting the basics right.

From what I remember Barton behaved well on and off the pitch at Burnley and didn't he get in team of the season?(apologies if I'm wrong). I think he would be gettable and may be a good fit for us. I also think Bruce wouldn't take any crap and would make that clear. Having said that im not sure Xia would be too keen so it's probably a non starter.

As a player I like what Barton could offer, as a person not so much. We are missing a mean side, someone who isn't afraid to ruffle a few feathers so he could be an ideal signing for us, certainly in the short term.

Did well when he come on and out of every player on the pitch I wanted him to get the winner. He has my support. If he plays for us- given the striking options we have -then he'll have worked hard to deserve it. I'm done with the negatives only positives for me and hopefully Villa from now on.
