  1. Get Bruce in: he can make us solid (if unspectacular) difficult to beat and we pick up points along the way. Once (if ) he gets us promoted he can maybe have a season in the prem (he will have earnt it) or Wagner/ whoever- can come in and take us further (if their still flavour of the month. Its a no brainer for me
  2. Ok merry go... get us a winning manager!
  3. Neither would the players- he would eat them!
  4. That last bit made me laugh!! Sh!t on it!
  5. Bruce for me. We need some stability and experience. It's ok getting a young and hungry manager in but I think managing us is a high pressure job and they would need time to settle etc. Which they may not necessarily get. Bruce would come in, go back to basics and take it from there. Could even offer a contract until the end of the season with an extension should we get promoted/ playoffs.
  6. Andy Marshall? Him and Sam Allardyce have similar records in previous management roles....
  7. Well, whoever he may be he will get legendary status if he gets us up this season! Arise Sir Potato head!
  8. I think it's going to take someone with a lot of bottle to take the job on seeing as most previous managers sink without a trace after leaving us.
  9. Sadly, I think you are right. We may have employed and sacked someone else by then!
  10. Big Sam for me. he has to redeem himself somewhere.
  11. Can't believe we are in this position again. Really not sure who I would want as manager but we need someone with experience. No more gambles.
  12. Whoever comes in I hope it will finally be things happening on the pitch instead of off it! Sick of all the turmoil. Just want my club to be competing again.
  13. Tone's going to get a few tweets tonight! Time for cool, calm heads
  14. It's the formation you dream about but know it won't work.
  15. Surely Preston should be resting some players for their big champions league fixtures.
  16. I think the last few seasons apathy may be returning for me
  17. Is RDM in the telegraph tomorrow or something? Must have been caught discussing dodgy line ups
  18. I like Jack and really want him to come good but fear it's a case of "too much, too young" this season is the one he can really make a name for himself and become the player he has the potential to be. I hope that he comes good but I am having doubts
  19. Well, couldn't stand the bloke when he was with us. This certainly won't change my opinion!
  20. Must admit, with the team we have I've been expecting lots of 4-3's
  21. Maybe we need to do a round of applause from 85 minutes for 5 minutes plus to keep the players awake.
  22. Get me a pint of wine and I'll tell you..
  23. I was never really enamoured with RDM coming in as I wanted a more aggressive manager with more dare I say "passion" (not Pearson btw) but I thought I'd give him a chance and my full support. I can see why he was appointed if only for having a champions league win on his CV. Im truly in the RDM out camp as I can't see any improvement or continuity. If the team are going to gel by playing together how is playing different tactics and formations going to help? Keep it simple! i really thought we would build on Newcastle but tonight seemed like we had learnt nothing. Is it really that hard to get someone in who knows what their doing?
