Interview went very well, wore a shirt and tie and parroted a few facts about the company. He was my best buddy from there. He really sold me on role and has me in to meet who'll be my manager tomorrow. Consultation didn't go as well. Offered a month's notice in lieu the redundancy pay would be 2 weeks pay, then felt really pressured into accepting an alternative role. The main one they offered is a problem site, empty building in Perry Barr that has constant issues with traveller's. Manager was being quite arsey because he heard about my interview. "but we're offering you jobs" Cheers mate, it would have been a lot less stressful this weekend if you'd said last week. 2nd consultation is on Thursday where I need to make my choice, I'm leaning towards taking the redundancy and my chances with getting this other job.

Double checked my interview confirmation It's competency based, first question is almost guaranteed to be "tell me about yourself" No doubt biggest strength/weakness and challenge will make an appearance too.

It's just a database, download the update and store it in the whichever folder it says and you're good to go. All you'll need to do is select it when you start a new game. There won't be any issues, but I it will run as well as if you were running the normal database.

The official update is usually late feb/early march. This guy does an unofficial data update which is usually never more than a week behind any real life changes, currently it's correct as of yesterday.

I'm an employee. The site we work was sold to the EFA to be turned into a school, the site is being turned over to the building company on Monday so our employer is losing the contract. We are a bit miffed in that our bosses don't seem to have a clue what's going to happen to us, we plan to argue that we're monthoy paid so should have been given a months notice or pay while we find something else. There might be roles going at another site but again they couldn't say whether we'll be offered them. Basically no-one knows what the **** is going on and we have bills to pay so it's getting stressful.

Found out today that my last shift at work is Sunday night, we expected the contract to be ended soon, but were hoping for more than 4 days notice. To rub it in our manager wants to meet us all on site on Monday lunchtime, Apparently he doesn't believe in my need to sleep. I started applying for other jobs last week and had missed a call this morning to arrange an interview, I've called back and got myself booked in for Monday morning. Does anyone know where I stand with regards to notice and redundancy? I'm monthly paid and have been with the company for a little over 2 years.

I must have been watching a different fight to the judges in the Silva Brunson fight, all I remember Silva doing is stuffing takedowns and his little capoeira stint. Brunson was landing a lot of strikes from the clinch and had control when he did get the takedown. Thought Holm was robbed, should have been a draw with at least one point docked for the late strikes. Jacare was impressive, fought like he'd got a taxi waiting.

muggins decided to do some cardio after my lifting today. 5k on the rowing machine in 23m 41.5s. On the bright side my legs do still work, sadly this also includes the pain receptors. Getting some serious "don't do that again" messages which I'm seriously considering paying attention to.
