I don’t think fluent English holds much tbh multiple languages are spoken on the pitch and training ground. But given that he’s still young and might be here for years to come could easily see him captaining the team not that a player needs an armband to lead and inspire those around him.

I would have 7 before the season started and believe that would have been and acceptable return. I think 15 is a bit steep given we don’t start him often but then again we are in multiple cup competitions .

This was the whole point of keeping him around the squad with 10 minutes here and there last season. Standard youth development nothing confusing about it.

Made the point several times last season that Emery wouldn’t persevere with him if he didn’t rate him. His role in the team now suits him perfectly 7 appearances 6 goal contributions so far this season.

Honest reply anybody who knows anything about Emery will know this won’t bother him in the slightest if anything it will please him seeing a player wanting to start it’s up to the Player to prove that he’s worthy now.
