  1. I was at my sons Rugby training last night. I was talking to a guy who plays for the buccaneers team. These are the over 35's who have stopped playing for the firsts and seconds. They are not in any league, just friendlies. They often go away and play a couple of games over a weekend. Its all a bit of fun with lots of beer involved. He was telling me their party trick in a game. The night before they all meet in the bar, have a belly full of beer then go for a curry. Fast forward to the game the following morning. First scrum, they all fart, then allow the scrum to be pushed back a yard. But then hold firm. The opposition are held in the scrum right over last nights beer and curry farts
  2. So sorry to hear that, terrible just terrible.
  3. so its about protectionism then by the member states. and if we cant make that deal does all trade stop or what? I'm wondering how important these deals are, I mean there are no deals with The US or China, but I bet there are billions of dollars of trade between them.
  4. how hard can it be to be a negotiator, surely the EU have a set of criteria countries have to meet, and as we have been trading with them for years surely we must meet them. I remember reading that it took Canada 7 years to make a deal. 7 years how can it take that long.Whats to check, what obstacles can they possibly have against Canada
  5. i thought your cock had fallen off.
  6. bet he wishes it was last christmas
  7. My son had his under 14 county Rugby trial today, One tackle defending his line took the forward 3 yards back, think a miniature Micky Skinner. One of the coaches, they're all England coaches said "outstanding strength young man" whether he makes it I don't know but well played son. Its really nice because he lives in Yorkshire, and he supports Villa. He has had the piss taken out of him by his school friends, who all support Manucitychelseaarse fc. Well after the xmas break he's going into school and say I'm going to be a pro you lot are past it never going to be a footballer.
  8. Time is the biggest problem for us in regard to UFO's or aliens. There are plenty of planets in the Goldilocks zone but the problem is time. The earth has been around about 4 bn years and its only been in the last 50 or 60 years that we have had the technology to look for it, so maybe in another 300 years we have the resource to go beyond the solar system that is such a small amount of time to find another planet which has evolved enough and to have reasonable technology for us to recognise them. The earth wont exist in about 4bn years, It would not surprise me if some other life form found whats left of it , but came too late. Its equally plausible that we were visited 100 million years before any life form
  9. I'll never forget an old friend of mine, we played in the same teams many moons ago. He was not a genius just a reasonably smart bloke. He had two phrases I'll never forget If friction causes heat, how many throbs of a donkeys knob does it take to boil a kettle and my favourite insult I'm not bitter or angry, I just hope his ears turn into arseholes and he shits all over his shoulders
  10. I actually think we'll do well, what we don't seem to be good at is when teams sit back and hold on for a draw. I think Leeds will have a go. Also their last 2 games were, being outclassed by Newcastle and hanging on for a 2-1 win against 10 man Rotherham
  11. Ive never bothered with it before so don't know how to go about it. I need to get a PS4 for my lad, any tips where to look and when
  12. now tell her why, I've known loads of women who had a baby, just like I've known loads of lad's who have had a kick in the nad's But i've never known a bloke to say 2 years later, i think i'll have another kick in the nad's
  13. well done fella just remind your wife child berth is less painful than a kick in the nads
  14. can you make more if you have more to invest? or is it just time that brings the bigger rewards
  15. nah under Sherwood we played like 10 number 2's
  16. He really needs a brilliant song, and soon. I think he'll be back to China not too long after the transfer window to keep an eye on his other interests, with the occasional pop back.
  17. ALL the better, well not really. But I guess the 100 or so members of team GB who got a medal, will earn a lot less than the England team who have won bugger all for 50 years. I read Laura Trott with 4 gold medals gets £65k a year from lottery funding as a wage. Rooney makes that by January 3rd. If only the FA were as good as the Olympics team management. My son goes to a non fee paying school, 2000 kids. He's really good at rugby.(most of the school team play for the local team anyway) The school has 7 football coaches but not one Rugby coach. They are coached by 5th and 6th years. They got into the last 200 or so of the national schools cup, a bit like reaching the 3rd round of the FA cup. Drawn away at Newcastle Grammar. The school pulled the plug, said it would be too expensive to travel etc and they would probably lose anyway. The football first team still got their 4 days training at Manchester united though, even though they have never done anything.
  18. That's a good reason for taking the easy way out
