  1. Sorry but this is objectively nonsense and massively condescending towards another professional league
  2. Hopeless. Seeing very little to suggest that Gerrard should be trusted with a large transfer budget in the summer
  3. Not far off some of Gabby's offerings in our relegation season tbh
  4. West Ham at home was the only one which stuck in my mind as being especially worse if I'm being honest. And at least that was against a team who were flying and looked very good on the day. Newcastle came out and pressed us well in the first half but had very little quality on the ball
  5. Possibly the worst all round performance of the entire season. Dreadful
  6. Really poor today. Not sure the role he's being asked to play suits him at all
  7. McGinn has been woeful today. Doesn't seem to be enjoying his role in Gerrards system tbh
  8. Utterly hopeless. As bad a first half as we've had all season - very lucky it's only 1-0 and hopefully a strong reaction in the second half
  9. Saw this thread and opened it to post Geowizard - best thing on YT imo. From Aldridge, wonder if he's Villa?
  10. Not a Pep player imo. I could definitely see Klopp taking an interest though
  11. On current form, I reckon he finishes the season as our top league scorer. Brilliant to see how well he links up with Coutinho - his sprint from our own half into space to receive the ball for his second goal last night was incredible
  12. My favourite player. Two incredible finishes there, this lad is going to the very top
  13. I can only conclude that some of you have very little knowledge or experience of drugs with these assumptions
  14. Are people really suggesting that Grealish was on the sniff while out in public with his team mates and being chaperoned by Citeh security staff? Or that he may have been hooked on sleeping pills while playing the best football of his life for us last year, genuinely looking like he could be one of the best players on the planet? I think he's got an issue with drink that could very well stop him from reaching his full potential, but let's not lose the plot completely.
  15. Clearly got bags of talent and a long time yet to develop. At present it looks as though he hasn't got as good of a chance of making it here as some of our others, but he may be a bit of a late bloomer physically and others have said, Archer's trajectory this year shows that you can never know what's going to happen. I reckon he'll make a career out of football, but wouldn't be surprised if things turn out a bit like O'Hare and he ends up a very good championship player. Hope he proves me wrong and plays his whole career at Villa in the top flight though!
  16. I'm definitely British. Would not have the first clue what a Rolls Royce looks like. Like I said, the particular make and model of very expensive car which Dele Alli drives is a total non-story for anyone other than those deliberately trying to make it into one
  17. You have to say that it would be a great move for the lad, and having played internationally for Poland he may travel better than most other English players. Hope he sticks around, but think he'd find it hard to say no to the move and we'd find it hard to say no to a decent price. We will have to wait and see. Could all be bollocks, of course
  18. I honestly wouldn't recognise a Rolls Royce if one drove past me, couldn't begin to describe what one looks like. Total non-story, the lad has been earning millions of pounds a year for the past decade, he's not going to drive a Fiat Punto is he? Still a washed up busted flush waste of money, mind.
  19. Reading his quotes on the move it does sound as though he's unlikely to play for us again tbh. It's a shame, but he may have been made some assurances about a permanent move in the summer and a first team spot at Newcastle (should they stay up) that we couldn't match
  20. Yeah but if Hause didn't train with Mings everyday then he'd have much better control, so the goal is clearly still Tyrone's fault
  21. Really can't imagine a more boring club to follow than the Baggies. At least Small Heath can adopt that 'were shit and we don't care' attitude and never have a dull moment through all the calamities they endure. With WBA, just what's the point?
  22. Knew there was something along the lines, was in the media a fair bit around the time of the Salisbury poisonings IIRC along with rumours that he was potentially losing interest. I think its a fair assumption that any renewed sanctions on Russia will have a far greater impact on the average citizen than the likes of Abramovich
