Please everyone drop the left footed/right footed thing. It has no relevance at all and I'm sure anyone who works in football would agree. If you're not good enough to play on the other side, then you're not good enough to be a professional footballer anyway, so the whole thing is a moot point.

Think we'd fall apart with no Benteke personally as, in form or not (however I actually thought he did well tonight), he is the target man for the whole team. I would like to see Helenius instead of Gabby at home though.

One of his better performances tonight I thought, him and Delph showed we don't need 3 in the middle every game (thank god).

Thought he continued on his form from the West Ham game to be fair, wasn't going to be quite the same as the defenders were obviously tired in that game, did well enough to keep his place though IMO.

No he isn't. He's only just good enough for the Premier League If that was the case, we'd have very very few players good enough for the premier league, and we'd be bottom. Huge overreaction from one mistake.

You either weren't listening or you were just submerged too far into the North Stand to hear because there was quite a few chants yesterday? "What the ****, what the ****, what the ******* hell was that" was probably the loudest chant I can remember - which speaks for itself.

I think the reason for that was because he was never actually "given a number" by Lambert, instead just assigned a spare one by someone at the club as, due to him having such a long term injury, Lambert hadn't chosen a specific number for him. Which would explain why Johnson took his, as it was never actually his. I think when he comes back he'll get a choice over what number he can have, which will probably end up being like 26 or something.

Bacuna hasn't got enough of a footballing brain to reach the heights of Milner IMO. E.g. that chip against Hull, I doubt Bacuna would be quick thinking enough to pull that off. Would love to be proved wrong though obvz.
