Horrific I think was selling Digne and bringing in two sub standard full backs one of which has hardly played and is now out for the season. And of course signing Alli for any money even if that money is just his wages (awful player)

Might be just me but DCL has always struck me as being shit apart from a very small period I think last season were he went on a run of scoring and people suddenly started thinking he was good. For me he is an illusionist and poser. He gives the illusion of being a good striker often nearly getting on the end of things coming into the box and looking unfortunate because he just missed making contact when in reality he isn’t a natural finisher so didn’t make the run until it was too late so is always having to throw himself and miss crosses. He is a poser in that he looks like a decent player he does things in a stylish way but actually achieves nothing. I think he is one of Everton’s biggest problems because that little run he went on gave Everton the impression they had a top striker and he clearly started to rate himself so thinks he should be starting every game but in reality he isn’t very good but because they thought he was they haven’t invested in a proper striker so they keep playing DCL who can’t score that’s why they are in a mess. that and they can’t defend and are poor in every department

Not saying he should be going on strike to join us or Utd but if he signs a new contract with Leeds then I think that says a lot about his ambition. We have seen it with grealish that top players are top players because they want to push and push to be the very best they can be and that often means leaving there home town club. I would question his desire for anything other than an easy life and perennial relegation scrap by staying with Leeds. However like others have said with his injury record and his ability I think he is a good player but not worth us spending £60 million plus huge wages on.

Having watched the arsenal game from high up in the holte end and the tactics of two number 10’s really shocked me by how restrictive it is. We played the ball out short to konsa and mings and if they didn’t play long and give the ball away they end up at the two full backs. Our midfield are a liability when we play inside and you could see cash especially reluctant to play that ball. Buendia was playing narrow anyway but it looked like he had been told do not go wide because there were times he could of dropped into a hole on the touch line and cash had a little ball down the line which he was clearly looking for but instead buendia went even narrower inside to what was an already over packed midfield and we play into traffic lose the ball. That happened so many times it felt like it had to be an instruction. i would have thought with a player like coutunhio in your team you would want to give him a bit of space to operate in so over crowding his key areas would be a thing to avoid.

I’m saying it now I can’t support anything gerrard is doing at the moment. To take of Samson which I knew he would for luiz and still being tactically inept just makes me look at this any wonder how we go anywhere with gerrard.

Firstly people saying targett was rubbish surely would rather him at left back than a 36 year old none left back especially when we sign a player that can’t get past 10 minutes as our main left back. mcginn as the more defensive midfielder is a really poor managerial selection. Why are all our managers scared to drop mcginn he isn’t that good and today has been one of the worse performances I’ve seen from a premier league player ever

I think he already is the next Deli Ali. Believe there own hype think they have made it at 20/21 years old and stop putting the work In and football moves very quickly and when you don’t put the work in you go backwards very quickly. personally I like rashford as a guy, he seems like a decent lad but I wouldn’t want to see him shooting from 35 yards for us like he seems to do for Utd when ever he gets the chance despite no goals that I can remember coming from outside the Penalty area. Sitting in the holte end and having a good view of the set up I had to give gerrard a very poor today. Emi and Phil were so narrow that when we played it around at the back by the time we worked it out to cash or young the percentage ball down the line either short to feet or a spin into the space as not on. That meant the full backs only options were go back to the centre half go square inside or try an eye of the needle pass to a congested midfield area. No team plays like that it just doesn’t work. in terms of performances I thought Ollie was very very poor although isolated but you can at least put yourself about about. Luis to slow and casual on the ball and no protection to the centre half’s. JJ poorest game I have seen from him, subs were poor too, not sure what bailly offers and Bert has had his time I think. Can’t help wondering who’s wife Samson must be shagging to still not get any minutes

I thought that prior to the game. Starting the same 11 just under 3 days since the last game when we don’t need to given our bench seemed a mistake to me but I haven’t seen the game so I can’t comment on performance.

I think he gets a little bit of abuse from Villa fans (myself included) when he gets cocky and casual with his play which maybe because he is skipper often sets a tone for sloppy play all over the pitch but the last few games when it’s been all business really shows him at his best and when he is at his best he is our number 1 centre half

To be fair I think we were excellent against Brighton and especially Southampton but leeds are really pathetic as a team. They have one mode of play which is run around more than your opposition but when they have essentially a team of mid championship quality it only gets you so far. Roderigo is £30 million of garbage raphina clearly wants out asap, they seem to see Branford as a saviour which is a lol. I thought in October they might go this year and I really think they or Everton will go now. all that said about how poor Leeds are our performance was a really professional effort to a man seeing out the manic headless chicken running and taking control of the game. I only watched the first half and the last ten minutes of the second but my god they are a really poor side from front to back. Pickford as other have said is average at best, makes a lot of camera saves but the basics of his game are poor. the back four wow all of them are so poor. Slow and clumsy but also weak physically too and whoever thought that kenny was a premier league player needs there heads looking at and Coleman was done about 3 years ago and looks embarrassing playing premier league football and might I think struggle in the championship too but to be fair that could be said for the whole back four. How did they pay £30 million for Michael Keane ???? midfield is ok but not great. I think Gordon looks a decent youngster but a big light weight and not much end product. Allen average van Dee beek I thought would be better than he is I can see why Utd didn’t play him even with there team. Dacoure I think is ok as a physical presence but lacks quality and richarleson is clearly for me there most likely player but I think he blows hot and cold and if Barca did offer £100 milk which I doubt but under normal circumstances I would bite the hand off. Also perhaps says something about Barca’s recruitment policy too if that was true throwing money at average players. upfront DCL not a player I have ever rated, always felt he was a poser trying to look good while giving the impression of doing the right things but zero natural instinct for scoring goals. Everton’s situation doesn’t really surprise me. It’s very like us before we went down in that you could see it coming a couple of years ago but I thought they would’ve done something about the glaring issues with there squad like having lots of the same types of players and being unbalanced with no real style of play. the advantage Everton had over us back then is the money hasn’t been turned off yet I don’t think but if it was and they are stuck with this bunch then if it’s not this year it’s next year.
