I only use subtitles when I'm watching something I've seen 100 times before and I'm playing my guitar while its on. With foreign films or series though I can't watch the English dubs, especially with Korean or Japanese stuff, it has to be in the original language with subs for that shit

I haven't had Netflix for ages, I sponged off me Mom n Dads profile but that's been blocked now, I use my IPTV for 99% of the shit that I watch, I had to get Netflix for Ragnarok though because my IPTV didn't have it with the original voicetrack and subtitles, literally signed up and cancelled on the same day.

Top Boy season 5 has just dropped on Netflix, I'll be binge watching the **** out of that, just started the first episode. Regardless of what happens in the finale it can't be any worse than that absolute trash ending to Ragnarok

Agreed but GGG vacated the belts because he can't be arsed with the mandatory fights and only wants the most lucrative ones available now so Eubank will have to cough up some big money to get that one. Still makes him sound like a plank by calling him out for belts he doesn't even hold though.

Allen was a likeable character who lacked talent, Eddie Hearn continuously threw him to the wolves because his popularity would sell a few more PPV's with him on the undercard. He had absolutely no right being in the ring with people like David Price let alone Dillian White and Luis Ortiz. Eddie Hearn should be ashamed of himself for some of the beatings he put on that kid. At the same time though, if Allen is to be believed he's invested all the money and protected his kids futures quite nicely.

Apart from Keinan Davis, just one more season and he would have come good, I'm sure of it

This, 100% this, I haven't had a season ticket for the last few years but the last time that I did have one it got to the point when I wouldn't celebrate a goal whenever it was scored, I wouldn't look at the players, I wouldn't soak up the athmosphere, I'd be looking at the referee or the linesman, and then after a 4 minute deliberation the crowd would cheer and I'd think..."oh well, that was a good goal that was scored 5 minutes ago" and all excitement has gone. Without VAR you get a goal you jump up and down and you scream and the goal its a goal, every now and again after a minute someone in the crowd spots that the flag is up and all of a sudden that moment of euphoria turns to anger, rightly or wrongly, the game starts again and you get on with it. With VAR you get a goal, you have 10 seconds of excitement then you look at the ref, VAR is checking for something, you have no idea what they are checking but you know that something is up, they keep checking, keep checking, keep checking....5 minutes later goal is given, well....I guess we should celebrate then Even when it says VAR checking possible offside and it takes 30 seconds, its enough to get rid of the excitement of the goal for me.

well, scrap that, I'm staying where I am. my current company made me an offer to try and keep me, I turned it down and they've come back with another offer and I've accepted it, its not as much as what the new company were offering but as I'd said in my last post, they are a good company and it was purely about the money, I'm pretty happy here and they've done what they can to keep me and if all goes well I'll shortly be picking up an extra 4.5k a year with a 6% annual bonus (or the bonus is usually around 6% anyways)

I'll be putting a large chunk away in my savings but then I reckon I'll probably upgrade my Taylor once I feel like I have enough money behind me to justify it, already thinking of just doing a straight upgrade from the 214ce to the 314ce....but it won't be for a while....I say that now, but I know that I'll probably make it about 3 or 4 months before I get an itchy trigger finger

Thought I'd dig this thread out and give a little update, after less than 2 years I am going to be handing my notice in again. Contract signed, just waiting for the checks to go through and get confirmation but I've got a start date of 2nd October. Its a shame as the company I work for at the minute is brilliant, no complaints about anything apart from the fact that their systems are about 15 years behind the times (seriously) New place is offering me £6.5k a year more though and I just can't turn that down, told my current boss and he understands completely and said that it is too good of an offer for me not to go for it, he had a chat with the big boss and the most they can offer to keep me is an extra £1.5k New place might be absolutely shite and I might despise working there but £6.5k a year will make such a massive difference to me outside of work.

Matty Cash was great for where we were, not good enough for where we are. He's been good for the Villa but we need someone better in this position, been saying it for a while now so it isn't just reactionary to his performance today

If someone said to me after Brighton on the last game of the season "you'll be starting next season with the exact same starting 11 except for 1 player" I would have been mighty pissed off. Yes we don't have a bad team but we should be looking to improve on them, Cash was woeful today but will be an automatic starter because we don't have any competition whatsoever, and the even bigger problem with that position is that Cash was our second best RB last season as well. We only have a Watkins up front, did anyone see the pre-match thread when we thought that he might be injured, it was full on panic stations. Whether Bailey was only starting because of Buendia's injury or if he would have been in the starting 11 anyway I don't know but I don't want him starting games for us. For me there is still a helluva lot of work to be done in this transfer window and I was saying that before today. Mingsy being out long term is a massive blow and we have to hope that Tores is up to the challenge (and it'll be a big challenge) Today was a gut punch and it wasn't good enough from either the manager or the players but its one game, we aren't in a relegation battle just yet.
