  1. I would love to know the thinking behind it, what does it achieve in their mind ? (it might be perfectly reasonable for all I know) Maybe the same as why they wear lipstick or something ?
  2. I don't mind the bag thing as long as they move it if you want to sit down. When i used to get the bus it was much easier for me to stick my bag on the seat next to me than down by my legs, which were already crushed into the tiny legroom you get. I target these people and make them move so I sit by the window, as I sit down I put my bag on the spare seat for a laugh in the aisle. They don't like that, so do that (I move it immediately afterwards, I just like to see the horror in their eyes that they might have lost there seat.)
  3. I think "Silver spoon" needs to be defined.
  4. I have never met anyone from VT so I really must make the effort. I suppose I have only joined recently.....2003 I think. Sounds good though. Will print the night out form and see how I go :-)
  5. yeah I hate that you can't walk down your local park or down a street without stepping over cat shit  To be fair to Holland they have dog bags on lampposts everywhere where I live, maybe even every 200m or so and especially on the beech. It's not nice but it need to be picked up, it's mega important. It's basically the only thing non dog owners have and to be honest they are correct. IF you don't clean up then you should lose the dog IMO.
  6. I have a English Beagle from the abandoned doggie place. He's a bit mental but everything has improved me in a variety of different ways. Mentality, keeps me nice and stable. Not lost my temper in over 4 years since I had the dog + loads happier in general. Health, I now walk 20 KM + per week minimum.
  7. I got married 6 years ago but alas I can't remember the first dance thing but I have an excuse, my feet were swilling around in blood at the time. (Nope, I did not do a Dexter. I managed to find the most painful shoes on the planet, I walked home in socks the 2 KMs home after. They were that bad, the whole day just cutting my feet to death. I would chop one of my own fingers off rather than walk 10 miles in them shoes.
  8. Yep, bit of a slow burner to start with but expertly done in terms of how to do a series. A really great series but you need to stay switched on watching it as it's quite clever IMO.
  9. Yep that's what I was getting at. A laser would IMO go round the universe and I would have a red dot on the back of my head. "Hold it steady though !!!" as I suspect a sneeze might make it miss. The thing about the Bullet is a good one, but I think it's been done. (fire bullet (level to ground) / drop bullet at same time and both bullets hit ground at same time.
  10. Well if he goes down which I really hope he does we could be in line for some comedy moments. What with his nerves and that, if he gets to sew mail bags he will end up sewing into his arms probably, after a hard days work he will walk back to his cell looking like the Aldi version of Icarus with mail bags flapping off his blood stained arms ... "Go on Harry, fly fly. You can do it"
  11. For a long time in my life I did not know what these people were even doing, I thought it was a joke that I just missed from a TV show or something(Truth). I was wrong, it's a easy way of telling everyone that you are a nonce. Once I found that out I am happy as I know what they are doing now :-)
  12. Make some minor changes to his chair so it don't swivel. Super Glue will do.
  13. Nope, from what I have seen if this happens with an accidental elbow or similar "Ooh that hurt a bit". Can't hurt that much as :- They can still stand. They can still talk. Are not in the foetal position on the floor. Can carry on after a few seconds as if nothing happened. I have broke bones, cut bits of fingers off and had thumb in train doors for starters and nothing comers close to a whack in the jewels, nowhere near for immediate pain. The only thing close is deep burns but even that takes a while to kick in. It's only happened to me twice but the pain is forever etched on the inside of my forehead. I asked my mrs about how bad child birth is (She has had 3 kids) and she said it was easy and hardly hurt at all.
  14. Homeland started over here on RTE in Ireland on Friday night. Enjoyed the first episode has a very impressive cast. Plus the wife looks great in the nip. I finished the 1st series of Homeland a few weeks a go, real good and gets better as the series goes along. Really well made and quite thought provoking. It's a bit confusing but stick with it. I hope there is a 2nd series as that is set up to be super.
  15. Glenis Barber.........(Eastenders) On my list and always has been.
  16. No very good at names but..... The Mom from the inbetweeners ? Sian Williams Suzzana Reid Jane Hall (neighbours)
  17. So it's clear then I am either a genius or smoke far too much hash. So basically if I understand the above then it's possible that I am sort of correct ? *Good job I smoke weed then.
  18. *Not sure where I got this from but ...... If you have a hand-held laser thingy (like the ones they point at the planes etc) and imagine that the only object in the universe is the planet Earth. If you point the laser just above the horizon would the red dot appear on the back of your own neck ? (I might not have explained this very well so stop pulling mongy faces ) * I might have imagined or dreamed this....
  19. Ók, stupid question but worth asking maybe ? If they went ahead and ended up with the Euro could that actually work ? If you lived close to the border would it be the same as in NI where people pop over the border for cheaper petrol or would they still like to have my Queen on the money in their little pockets ?
  20. Nope, take one home and scan it, modify at will. You need to replace the text with something appropriate, maybe something like this from the top of my head :- (As in : Hello my name is Nick G. and I like nothing better than putting a squirrel in my pants while wearing a dress. Join my party and I will cry if I want to. I am scared of the dark and I like collecting football stickers but don't let that put you off. I am street i'm tellin ya. I live with my mom (STILL, I know, I know but I am not a serial killer) but with your help I can build my dream house, I want a mushroom type building in my mom's garden where I can catch a squirrel or 2 and sit on top of my mushroom house cross legged with my squirrel friends and watch the sun go down. (I wont cross the squirrels legs, OH NO. Won't make that mistake again, not this soldier. Small wheel chairs are a bastard to find. If my new house could be a bright colour that would be nice so I can see it from my friends house down the road. He wears wellies all the time does Marvin. I like bread. BNP: British Nuts Party, save our walnuts. IMAGE : A big red Squirrel with a "Have I left the gas on type look" but it needs to be wearing a gas mask (Obviously). Print them out if you have access to a free printer and place back on seats. You could do one every few weeks and eventually they would give up. With the text supplied he might get put away in broad moor anyway. Happily enough I am at work so it's all good, if I was at home the text would not come out right and sound a bit strange or mad.
  21. Recently with the wi-fi while travelling around (Buses, train and shops etc) So you look at your devices (Android, e-readers etc) and they inform me that there are "open wi-fi networks available". This is not the truth, nowhere near it. This needs to be changed urgently IMO, what it should say it. "There are non Free wi-fi networks available" or ""There are Free and open wi-fi networks available" . Only slightly different but one can then be filtered out if needed, do I care if there is a credit card needed wi-fi ?...not really. Basically unless things are free I don't care about it.
  22. No way, I absolutely love making Ikea stuff also. No instructions needed any more really either for 90 % of it. I think this is connected to my models that I build that I forgot to put in the above list. Yes, little models and stuff. You can lose hours and hours.....
  23. Walking is the main one for me. I suppose I walk about 20-30 miles a week (maybe more as I get the bus now so to bus stop etc). I find it has to be super regular, same time, same place, same wife, same dog. THis has not changed for 6 years and my life has changed because of this alone IMO. Computer games: FM and things like Drake's fortune really make me happy. I am 40 next week but I am still a child when it comes to games. Reading: The way forward for forgetting where or who you are for bit, difficult to get the time though.
  24. Can't do it. I changed to wearing my suit in the dug out these days, Pizza on my suit is a no no. The team seem to be playing better also
