i think its creeping in, before it was just something funny on holiday and you'd say we dont do that in england, but we do and its getting worse worst ive seen was an emirates flight to dubai, they called something like rows 1 - 14 and i think me and my girlfriend were the only ones who stayed sat down, they announced it several times that it was those rows only and people were still getting turned away, when we landed you get the usual remain seated to the light goes off thing, absolutely no chance, everyone was up bags out stood up waiting to get off whilst we were still moving problem is when flying trying to beat a que makes absolutely no sense, you rush to get on and you arent taking off till the last person is on board, you rush to get off just to go join another 2/3 ques and sods law your bag will be last anyway If I have a seat in the isle I don't move until it makes sense to do so. I just make them wait as it is pointless to stand up ready if the doors are not even open ffs. 99% of people who fly should be set on fire IMO.

I will raise you on the above. I work in Holland, people had Orange things all over the place and all I heard for 2 weeks was about the football / tactics / games coming up etc. All day every day. Not a single word about it now, not even a "England did well". They don't even watch it now. The Dutch like football, The English love it...simple as as that. Jealous little words removed. I thought England are always over rated but the Dutch think they have World class players all over the pitch, I disagree.

The general line where I work from almost everyone in the office is :- Me : Alright (insert name), hows it going ? Them: "Busy, busy, busy" (The first busy is always loud so anyone else can hear it if needed). That's it, that's all I get. No how are you ? or anything. That is from about 90 % of the people I work with. You can't even talk to people anymore.

Aren't the Dutch famously great lovers of chocolate sprinkles? (not a euphemism, despite the other things Amsterdam, at least, is famous for). Chocolate sprinkles on everything. Yep, they do that on bread ffs. The best one is a hot cross bun type thing here. Bit of butter on it, nice as. They put cheese on it. I have to import a lot of items via the Internet from home as the food is truly awful. They have no biscuits / crisps / chocolate or anything of that nature that is worth eating.

Me and the Mrs need to get a train for 30 mins and then a 20 minute walk to the nearest eatable curry. There are some nice ones in Amsterdam but thats a long way from the coast. The Dutch don't like Indian food, far too tasty and nice for them. They prefer to eat utter rubbish every day. Basically the whole country revolves around bread.

Went to see it last night. Dunno, 7 out of ten but just about. Hugely disappointing overall but the effects saved it + Theron. Some of it was very obvious and we all knew which members of the ship were effectively targets from the very start and would be dispensed with. Gutted really as they should have done a bit like alien but run home but on launch find a xenomorph on board and battle to kill before arrival at earth or something. + its an hour too short.

Imagine Batman been made as an 18 as it should have been ? They are clueless, American Werewolf, an 18 on release and on video. Oh, its a 15 now. Bunch of words removed

In a world where kids can watch anything online, I ask myself - what the point of the certificates, its jsut a justify the job thing these days ? Waste of time and effort.

Will be watching it at 7:30 pm (GMT) tonight. I watched all 4 previous films over the last week....... really looking forward to it, got great seats also.

I am reading :- Stephen Hawking - A Life in Science Brilliant book, split between a biography and explaining the discoveries he made and what they mean as you go along. The science is described in quite a easy to follow fashion. A truly remarkable man and a really great book. Before his illness he was not that brilliant, he drank a lot and even got caught painting graffiti (vote Liberal) on a bridge in his Oxford days. It sounds bad but it could be that his illness was the catalyst for his mind to go into turbo mode. I actually feel guilty about moaning that I am tired or fed up currently because the disabilities he has are truly awful but he has achieved more in 6 months than I will do in my whole life and he can't even move ffs. I can only admire his wife also, she is a smart cookie also but put it aside to look after Hawking.

Extreme talent + personality. Mr M. Ali is the prime example, he would still stop traffic in any city in the world + I think it helps if the person looks to have overcome difficulties such as where they were born, poverty or racism for example. Also, I think if you make it look easy helps or defy logic as with Tyson.

I am really glad you asked, yes and no. The aging process in oak means it really can stand on its on 2 feet as a brand but the ingrained use of piss will over time (hopefully) be replaced with the radical and forward thinking pi55 theory. We can only hope eh ? (Its habit for Sp@m filters and that)

Funny things I have found out this week, probably known by most of you but I thought they were good :- Snottites - Are what they say, snotty little things that hang in caves but they have acid coming out of them (Sulphuric iirc) (Bit like the Alien in the films) - which is pretty cool. Bees - They get drunk and have bouncers that stop the proper pi55ed ones entering the hive, repeat offenders get battered, maimed or even killed. I think the proportion of pi55 heads is about th same as humans.

I refuse to watch adverts and very rarely watch live TV these days, if I do I pause it before I watch for a bit to give it some slack to whizz past the adverts. I refuse to even watch them on fast forward just in case I catch a logo or slogan in the corner. They will try and be clever and make long adverts that work at x 10 fast forward, the advertisers are that sad. It is getting quite good now as a lot of TV shows that appear on the Internet are now stripped of even the channel indent in the corner or at least blur it so it cannot be read at all. Sp once they broadcast with the adverts it is soon stripped of anything to do with t eh channel or adverts that went with it, a fitting punishment for the inclusion of adverts I feel, the total loss of their worth and identity.

These ones will mess with a lorry or bus and end up glaring at the inside of a coffin one day, ironic really as this is the only place they can't do cyclist hand signals.

If someone has 10 million in the bank and walks past someone begging for food / help is that not the same thing or worse ? (Considering the peopel on the mountain choose to be there and know the risks) I don't know the answer, just wondering.

Boxing and the people who judge fights. Its probabley the case that this should pi55 me off but as it seesm to be the way of thngs it's normal for the score cards to be completely wrong. I sold my car 6 months ago so I go by train and bus, I load my phone up with 3 or 4 recent fights that I don't know the result. So I watch the fights as I travel. I am no expert but I score the fights in my head as I go along and my scorre card is pretty much the same as the comentators etc.... It goes to the judges and they get it wrong more times than right, how can this be when there are 3 of them. I can understand 1 mong managing to get the gig but 2 out of 3 is a bit much. Example : Tavoris Cloud and Gabriel Campillo (late feb 12) - Absolute joke of a result. It does my head in.

To be honest its not MM's fault, if the club was run in any way other than wrong we wouldn't need him with the ITK's. If the Villa was run properly we could all sit back and relax and wait for a good appoinment with the appropriate funds and backing to get us up to the top 6 but as we have seen with the last 2 attempts it's not likely to go well. Something will be missing, either funds, tactics, players, backroom staff or as we saw last season a clue. A major component will be missing and around and around we go. It's the same at transer time, ManUtd target and sign and have them on the pitch before we even get linked with Defoe. Even with months of planning most teams could not mess up as we have / will.

I am on about episode 8 or 9. Real good series IMO. I like it a lot, makes you think a bit. Touch is good also but saving that. Watched the 1st episode of Missing last night. I really don't know what to think. The stunts are truly awful and she just walks in palces that are alarmed etc. Dunno yet.
